The final controller design, named SIXAXIS, is an evolution of the DualShock 2, with a central "Home" button and a tilt sensor added. The rumble function of the DualShock 2 was left behind, although rumors have been circulating that a further redesign, including both rumble and tilt sensing, will soon be announced by Sony.
