Given the necessity of Nuclear Missiles to the mission, the Nuke General has the best matchup among all three Chinese Generals, as his Advanced Nuclear Reactors are far more efficient and his Nuclear Missiles cost slightly less. Nevertheless, it'll still be a very difficult battle.

Walkthrough – First 12 Minutes

The onslaught begins immediately. A very tight sequence of defensive posturing will help you survive the first few minutes.

Build an extra Dozer, a Reactor southwest of the Supply Dock, and a Barracks southwest of the Oil Derrick. When the first Dozer is done with the Reactor, build a Supply Center and an extra Supply Truck. The second Dozer should be directed to construct a Bunker.

Research the Capture Building upgrade, then produce a pair of Red Guard and 3 Tank Hunters. The Bunker should be finished, so order them to enter. In the meantime, build a War Factory in the southwestern corner, and an Air Field to the east of it.

The Red Guards will easily kill off the attacking Rangers, and when the two Paladins arrive, the Tank Hunters will make short work of them. Evacuate the Red Guards so they could capture the Oil Derrick.

The next attack will involve at least two Rocket Buggies, one from the east (position 2 Tank Hunters in advance to deal with it) and one at the north. If you choose to build your Gattling Cannon after the Paladins are gone, the northern Buggy might fall very quickly. Nevertheless, it is still recommended to build a Helix with a Battle Bunker as soon as possible, as well as seven more Tank Hunters. Sell the Air Field, load the Helix, then send it to the southwestern corner so Gattling Tanks and Avengers cannot reach it.

Two Gattling Tanks will directly assault the base, so recall the Tank Hunters and put them in the Bunker. If the Rocket Buggies destroyed it beforehand, simply rebuild it. Get the Radar upgrade at the Command Center.

Build a Propaganda Center directly north of the War Factory. The Sneak Attack Tunnel will appear upon its completion to unleash an Overlord, Paladins and Dragon Tanks in addition to one Gattling Tank and 4 Tank Hunters. Reposition the Helix beforehand near the Supply Center and prioritize attacking the Gattling Tank as well as the Overlord. The Tank Hunters will tear up all enemy vehicles. Enemy Tank Hunters somehow prioritize the Reactor above the Helix, whose nose gun should finish them off without worry. Another Helix will attack soon, so keep it here until then.

Purchase the Subliminal Messaging upgrade and build the Gattling Cannon if it wasn't there already. Deploy Black Lotus, followed by some Hackers (set Barracks Rally Point near the Reactor). Use Black Lotus to capture the Oil Derrick up north, then move to the southeastern corner to pick up a few Supply Crates. The MiGs should start attacking by now, so build a Speaker Tower a bit east of the Gattling Cannon. With this setup, enemy MiGs will directly attack the Gattling Cannon and Oil Derrick instead of the Construction Dozer, which in turn will be healed by the Speaker Tower before the next MiGs arrive.

Try to build an Internet Center southeast of the first Reactor, and a Nuclear Missile to the east of the Barracks. Order Black Lotus to move north, and capture the Oil Derrick when the Paladins and Dragon Tanks have passed it. After that, continue advancing, as there'll be some more supply crates for her to collect.

Keep producing Hackers and one Overlord. Don't upgrade it with a Gattling Cannon yet since there is already one nearby to handle infantry. Position it north of the Bunker. Avoid building more than 20 Hackers - you'll need the funds to construct additional Nuclear Missiles.

Enemy vehicles should be pouring at the base right now, though they shouldn't be too much of an issue. The Overlord and the Tank Hunters will tear them to pieces. You'll have a minute or two left once you reach 3-star for the level 3 Artillery Barrage, and maybe the funds for a second Nuclear Missile west of the first.

Fire the Artillery Barrage at any of the weapons Bunkers with 30 seconds left on the timer. This gives you and the shells enough time to reach it.

Key Strategies
  • The best way to counter the Sneak Attack Tunnel is a Helix with the Battle Bunker upgrade and 5 Tank Hunters.
  • One Gattling Cannon must be positioned right next to the Oil Derrick, also in the southwest direction. The Oil Derrick will then shield the Gattling Cannon from enemy Rocket Buggies and Paladins.
  • Spare Nuclear Missiles can be used to reset enemy superweapon timers or destroy Air Fields. It'll take 9 seconds, but that's much shorter than the Artillery Barrage's 20 or so.
  • Keep an eye on the Overlords and do not let them wander too far from the Oil Derrick, or they'll be destroyed.
  • Don't bother defending Oil Derricks beyond the base perimeter.
  • Eventually sell your Supply Center and Barracks to make room for additional Reactors and Nuclear Missiles.
  • Although a proper strategy can include expansion, it's not that difficult to win without doing so
  • Forget about spacing or selling your War Factory. Tightly packed buildings will allow more Nuclear Missiles.

Walkthrough – 12 Minutes to 24 Minutes

Build as many Nuclear Missiles as possible and support them with more Reactors. At least six are needed, and more are always welcome.

Purchase Satellite Hack I. This will remove the fog of war around all enemy Command Centers, which are critical for Nuclear Missile targeting.

To suppress aerial assaults, Satellite Hack II can be brought later (reveals the whole map for 25 seconds every 4 minutes), after Carpet Bombing becomes available. Due to the density of enemy air defenses, Carpet Bombing is only feasible against the southwestern Air Field. Place the reticle a bit to its lower-left corner, so the Bomber may attack earlier, increasing your chances of success. The Northeastern Air Field can be hit by an Artillery Barrage, but only once, as you will need the next for a reset.

If Black Lotus is still out there, capture the Oil Derrick near the Toxin Bunker (you'll have to wait a while if it is hit first), and optionally the Artillery Platform. They will draw away the MiGs and help to alleviate defensive pressure. With these buildings seized, recall her back to base.

You might want to build some Gattling Tanks to fend off aerial assaults. The Chain Guns upgrade is also recommended if you have at least three or four Nuclear Missiles available. You'll be keeping many of your structures away from the north, so enemy Gattling Tanks won't be able to hit them easily. Don't bother with artillery as they are way too expensive and vulnerable to MiGs.

Other than that, just keep building Nuclear Missiles, and fire the Artillery Barrage when the time is right.

Walkthrough – 24 Minutes to 48 Minutes

Add more Overlords to the east (one must be equipped with a Propaganda Tower). By this time you should have enough funds that building them will not interfere with Nuclear Missile production. Don't stop at just six, and cram Reactors in the corners if necessary.

Black Lotus, Jarmen Kell and Colonel Burton will start approaching your base sooner or later. For Burton, upgrade your Nuclear Missiles with Land Mines. Jarmen Kell usually doesn't start sniping until he gets past the bridge, and Black Lotus is easily countered by Overlords with Gattling Cannons.

Some additional Dozers may be necessary in case if MiGs decide to hit the Reactors, Internet Center, Propaganda Center and War Factory. If the MiGs destroy the Bunker, replace it and the lost Tank Hunters as well.

Watch the timer on your Nuclear Missiles. Once all six are ready, save the game, fire one at each Command Center and wait. Your Artillery Barrages and Carpet Bombings won't destroy all Construction Dozers (usually 3), so Leang will likely recall her existing ones and rebuild any lost structures near the Command Centers. Once they get into range, fire one more Nuclear Missile at each Command Center to completely destroy them. This will prevent her from using any of her General's Powers, leaving her Air Fields, War Factories and Barracks as the only remaining targets.

Save one Nuclear Missile or Artillery Barrage to reset the superweapon timers once more if you don't think you'll win before they fire.

Mission accomplished!!
