Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, known in Japan as Gyakuten Kenji (逆転検事? lit. "Turnabout Prosecutor") is an adventure video game for the Nintendo DS handheld game console by Capcom. It is a spin-off of the Ace Attorney video game series. The game was released in Japan on May 28, 2009 and is released outside Japan in February 2010. It was ported to iOS and Android in 2017. This game's place in the timeline is inbetween Trials and Tribulations and Apollo Justice.

Gameplay[edit]

The game is a standard "point and click" adventure, with the player controlling Edgeworth's movements and what he interacts with. For each case, the goal is to collect evidence to determine who the perpetrator is, how the crime was committed and what the motive is. The gameplay is very similar to the other Ace Attorney games, with investigation phases including evidence collecting and obtaining witness testimony. New gameplay features include movement from a third-person point of view as opposed to a first-person view, utilizing 'Logic' to obtain new evidence, and in place of witness cross-examinations, rebuttals.
