The volcano will fire in a set pattern that will repeat every 3 days. A few fires, a lot of fires, and a day of rest. Pay attention to this as it will be the same for the entire match and you may end up accidentally hurting your own units. Each shot deals 5 damage to any unit.
Just build infantry at the start, followed by APC's and try to rush the bases at both corners. If you have to concede one it shouldn't be too hard to take back if you just send some recons or tanks to delay their infantry. Some Artillery or Rockets can help you if you become stuck as the terrain is very narrow, but overall if you just spam Medium Tanks and Tanks there shouldn't be too much trouble steamrolling Hawke.
