Objectives
  1. Recover stolen Artifact
  2. Bring the Artifact to your Town Center
The Nile forts have brought peace to the south for many generations but the Libyans have once more become a problem. They have been raiding your coasts and intercepting trading ships heading for the Nile delta. They recently captured an important ship belonging to the Pharaoh and carried off a treasured Artifact sent to him by the kings of Canaan. Build a naval base in this area off the coast and attack the Libyan raiders at their homeport. Recover the stolen Artifact and return it to your Town Center.

As the game begins, immediately send all your villagers to chop wood and make 4 villagers with the food you start with. You need to build up an armada as quickly as possible. Make a Scout ship whenever you have the wood. When you have 4 or 5 scout ships and have more or less secured the immediate area, create some fishing boats and send them out for food. Send a few of your villagers to gather berries and make more villagers to chop wood. Upgrade to a War Galley when you have enough food and wood. When you have an armada of 6 or 7 war galleys, raid their coast. Go for the dock near the top of their coast first. Every once in a while, they will try to get a scout ship out, but it doesn't last long against your war galleys. Once the dock is gone, let the war galleys attack anything they want. Build a transport and 4 scouts at your stables. Send them across to find the artifact. There should be little to no resistance if you avoid the towers. The artifact is neither hard to find nor to get to. It's behind half a stone wall about three steps inland. Simply bring it back to your side of the river to finish this scenario.
