Hedgehog sisters Mabel and Sable run the Able Sisters, the local design store. You can make designs which can be placed on floors, walls, and clothes. Talking to Sable each day will eventually get her to open up and talk more about herself.

Museum[edit]

One animal can be found in the museum: Blathers in the main room. Donate fish, fossils, insects and paintings to Blathers.

Post Office[edit]

The Post Office is where Pelly, Phyllis and Pete work and where one can send or save their letters to anyone in their town or their future self. You can also repay your home loan and access your in-game bank account.

Train Station[edit]

Two animals can be found at the train station: An unnamed monkey who drives the train, and another monkey named Porter who boards the train if you want to visit another town. To visit another town you must have two memory cards with a different town on each memory card.

Police Station[edit]

The Police Station is run by Copper and Booker and is where random items can be found. Copper is in charge of greeting the player when they exit, and knows when special visitors are in your town. Booker inside, is in charge of asking if any items are yours or not. The items don't have to be yours to take.

Dump[edit]

The Dump is where Villager's drop random items they don't want anymore, two to three items appear everday and you can take them if you want. And is where you can drop trash from fishing like tires, empty cans and boots which you can't sell, or unwanted items you don't want to sell at Nooks.

Wishing Well[edit]

The Wishing Well is where all the events take place, and where you can find Tortimer which will give you rare items here as well, which you can't buy back.
