Appoooh is a wrestling arcade game which was developed by Sanritsu for Sega in 1984; it utilizes a Zilog Z80 microprocessor running at 3.072 MHz, with three Texas Instruments SN-76496s running at that same speed for sound and an OKI MSM-5205 running at 384 KHz for speech. The players must take up control of two of eight different wrestlers - each of whom is a caricature of a real-life wrestler: G. Babu (Shohei "Giant" Baba - 1938-1999), H. Hogen (Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea), A. Inoke (Kanji "Antonio" Inoki), S. Hanson (John Stanley "Stan" Hansen), Tigerman (Satoru "Tigermask" Sayama), A. Giants (André "The Giant" Roussimoff - 1946-1993), U. Uma (Ueda "Umanosuke" Yuji) and lastly A. Buchie (Larry "Abdullah the Butcher" Shreeve). By using an eight-way joystick to move round the ring, and three different buttons to attack, you will have to win three rounds in order to win the game.
