*One of the rarest items that can be found inside the capsules that the Octy leave behind when killed is the ray gun, which will upgrade Kissy and Takky's ray gun to a higher power level and allow them to kill the enemies quicker. But when one of them is hit, their ray gun power level will decrease by one.

*The end-of-floor bonus game can be very tricky if your reflexes aren't fast enough. If you save a Paccet on a regular floor, you will have any amount of Paccets from one to eight (depending on how many you have saved) in the bonus game - this will increase your chances of getting an extra shield. So if you have eight Paccets, you'll definitely get an extra shield and can enjoy the added bonus of picking up nothing but ray guns for the remainder of the current floor. However, every time you get an extra shield, you will also lose all your Paccets and have to save some more when the game continues.
Namco's 1985 scrolling shooter arcade game of Baraduke (which is also known as Alien Sector), is divided into eight worlds, each one made up of six floors, for a total of forty-eight stages. The first player controls "Kissy", while the second player controls "Takky"; as mentioned upon the Getting Started page, the fact that they're differently named means it can be speculated that this was to be the first game from the company to allow two players to play simultaneously. However, that honour would later go to Sky Kid, at the end of 1985 - which also runs on Namco's Pac-Land hardware (and was the last game to do so). Both of them will start the game with two shields, and will have the chance to earn up to six more by saving the one-eyed Paccets (that can be found inside the capsules that the Octy leave behind when killed), for the end-of-floor bonus games; if one of them has at least one Paccet after going down the pipe at the bottom of a floor, and receiving a shield bonus (100 points for every shield they have remaining), an end-of-floor bonus game will be invoked. In the end-of-floor bonus games, a red square will move rapidly around a virtualized octagon on the left side of the screen in a clockwise direction while the text "PUSH FIRING BUTTON" is flashing up on the right; once you have pressed the Firing Button, the red square will slow down and stop. If it has landed on a Paccet (), you will receive one extra shield - however, if it has landed on a letter "N" (), nothing will happen to you. But if it has landed on an Octy (), you will lose one shield, unless you only have the minimum amount of two; so you should not let this happen by any means. Therefore, the only guaranteed way to get an extra shield in end-of-floor bonus games is to have eight Paccets in your possession - remember that now.
*If you have some Paccets on a boss floor, they will sacrifice themselves to help Kissy and Takky by throwing themselves at the boss for them. The boss will be stunned for a few seconds, allowing you to get in some free hits before he recovers.

*On some floors, the ground and walls have invisible holes in them. These can help Kissy and Takky get away from the enemies. And if a projectile fired by an enemy hits a wall or the ground, it will dissipate.
Floor 1
Welcome to the game. Your spaceman will enter the screen by coming out of the pipe at the top of the floor, automatically opening the capsule below it - which contains a Paccet. The game begins properly after he says "I'm your friend" in a poorly-generated synthesized voice and your spaceman picks him up - so just destroy both of the Octy (one Gilly and one Winky) as quickly as possible, along with any Blanula and Skifla they may spawn. The capsules they leave behind will most likely contain Jewels or other Paccets, so once you've collected them go down the pipe in order to proceed to the next floor.
Floor 2
There is a Gilly Octy at the bottom of the screen at the start of this floor, so just let your spaceman float down there before destroying him. There is an Efila on the ceiling shortly after, so make sure you won't get hit by his projectiles before you fly up to kill him. Then there are two more Octy to contend with (one Gilly and one Winky again), but watch out for Squids while you are in the process of destroying them. There is also another Efila on the ceiling to watch out for here. The capsules the Octy leave behind here, once again, will most likely contain Jewels or Paccets, so once you've collected them go down the pipe in order to proceed to the next floor.
Floor 3
There is a Gilly Octy on the platform connected to the ground and left wall at the start of this floor, so just let your spaceman float down there before destroying him. Shortly after, there is an Efila on the ceiling, so make sure you won't get hit by his projectiles before you fly up to kill him. Then there is a Winky Octy and two more Efila to contend with, and you may also want to watch out for Polycators while you are in the process of destroying them - because they often appear on the ceilings directly beneath your spaceman's current position, which causes them to drop down on you before you can do anything about it. Lastly, there is another Gilly Octy and Winky Octy to take out just before the end pipe. The capsules that the Octy leave behind here will usually contain the standard Jewels or Paccets, but some could contain Baganns - so you may not want to stand directly in front of a capsule after opening it in case one comes bursting out.
Floor 4
There is a Gilly Octy on the platform connected to the left wall at the start of this floor, so just let your spaceman float down there before destroying him. There is also an Efila directly above him, so make sure you won't get hit by his projectiles before you fly up to kill him. After you have floated down on to the next platform (which is connected to the right wall), you will see a Tuning Octy. Try to destroy him before he has a chance to start firing projectiles at you and float down on to the next platform (which is connected to the left wall again). There is an Efila on the ceiling here, along with a Winky Octy and a Gilly Octy. After you have destroyed them all, float down on to the next platform (which is connected to the right wall again), you will see another Gilly Octy and Tuning Octy, as well as another Efila on the ceiling. Make sure you are out of the Tuning Octy's range here before destroying any of them - that way, he won't fire any projectiles at you. Lastly, at the bottom of the floor, there is another Tuning Octy and Winky Octy to contend with, along with yet another Efila on the ceiling - but watch out for Leap Baganns while you are in the process of destroying them, because killing one will cause the first bonus character (the Baby Molamola) to appear. Catch him as he falls for a 1000-point bonus - and remember, the chances of a Bagann bursting out of a capsule that an Octy has left behind here are more likely than on the previous floor.
Floor 5
There are no Octy on this floor and every sixth floor thereafter, as they appear to be the equivalent of a "bonus collection stage". There are six capsules arranged in an "L"-shape around the floor which lead to the automatically-open pipe, and most of them will probably contain Jewels, Paccets or even the occasional Ray Gun - however, the chances of a Bagann bursting out of one and attacking your spaceman are still there.
Floor 6
The first boss floor. The Blue Worm will start to advance on your spaceman immediately, and each of his eyes takes eight hits to destroy. If you still have Paccets here, they will sacrifice themselves to help you by throwing themselves at him in order to stun him for a few seconds and allow you to get in some free hits. Once all four of his eyes have been destroyed, he will disappear and you can go down the pipe in order to proceed to the next world.
