The game was released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 5, 2010 in North America and January 8 in Europe. A Windows version is scheduled for release in June 2010.

Eons after the truce, The Council foresees that Man will be a major factor in the battle. As such, a final battle would take place when the Seventh Seal was broken.
In the present day, armies of demons and angels fall to earth, destroying everything in their wake. In the midst of the chaos, War is summoned to Earth to bring order.
