Crossbows are two-handed missile weapons which normally require bolts to be equipped to fire them up to 37.5 yards (25% further than arrows from a bow, but slower to reload) at a rate of 18.75 yards per second. They occupy 2x3 inventory or stash spaces when not equipped (with the exception of Heavy Crossbows and Ballistae, which occupy 2x4).

Crossbows have 100 Dexterity bonus when calculating attack damage, so % Damage = Dexterity.

Crossbows have no range adder when used as melee weapons by a Werewolf or Werebear.
