E.V.O.: Search for Eden (46億年物語 46 Okunen Monogatari?, 4.6 Billion Year Story) is a SNES action-adventure platform video game developed by Almanic and published by Enix. It was inspired by the PC-9801 title 46 Okunen Monogatari: The Shinka Ron, a previous title of Almanic.

Spanning a period of over a billion years, the game's story involves Gaia, daughter of the sun and mystical embodiment of the Earth, guiding the player through five distinct geological periods of the planet's history: starting as a fish, before moving through the age of amphibians, dinosaurs, the ice age, and finally early man.

In each era, the player must advance across the world, defeating enemies and gaining the strength to set things right; something is causing evolution to go awry, resulting in something in each era becoming too powerful too quickly and putting the world in jeopardy. The player's objective is to deal with these threats, and, if successful in their journey, earn the right to enter paradise and become Gaia's immortal partner. With a blend of action-adventure gameplay and RPG elements, E.V.O. is one of the more unique titles in the SNES library.

The video game's music was composed by Kōichi Sugiyama of Dragon Quest fame.
