Fable III is the third entry in the Fable series. The game takes place approximately 50–60 years after the events of Fable II. The previous king of Albion (the hero of Fable II) has died, and the kingdom has passed to his tyrannical first-born child Logan. The player plays as Logan's younger sibling; the first part of the game focuses on gaining support to overthrow Logan and rule in his place, while the later part focuses on the decisions that have to be made by the new monarch, including whether to go to war, how to spend the kingdom's wealth, who to favour in "judgements" (civil disputes brought before the monarch to judge), and whether to honour promises made to supporters who helped overthrow Logan.
