LEGO City Undercover is the first game in the LEGO series released exclusively for the Wii U. Unlike most Lego games, LEGO City Undercover is not an adaptation of a movie, but rather an original story, set in the fictional Lego City, a combination of San Fransisco, New York and Miami with a National Park, Airport and Space Center thrown in the mix. As in all Lego games, the player can collect disguises, vehicles and various colored bricks for hours of investigating.
The story is a sequel to the 3DS under a similar title "The Chase Begins". Chase McCain, a protagonist police officer who left Lego City under a cloud 2 years ago has been called back when his nemesis Rex Fury escaped from an Albatross Island. Also Natalia, his love interest is on the line when she gets involve in the adventure.
