Returning to the White Forest after completing the mission above, you’ll meet Sotherbee, Skippie and Hamson at the entrance. This time Sotherbee will task them with capturing some Lilipeas to repay their debt and the mission will officially begin.

At this point, you will have to search the forest, as you did in the Jungle, looking for the others and the Lilipeas. There are two barrels in this forest, in which a Lilipeas is hiding. Examine them to find them. You'll never be able to catch them, but don't worry about that. You will also meet Skippie and Hamson, who will try in vain to catch a Lilipea. You can also take this opportunity to reach any chests you missed during the previous mission. Anyway, after meeting Skippie and Hamson and finding the two barrels, go back to the screen with the Gold Spirit Statue and the entrance to the Lilipeas Village.

You'll meet again Hamson and Skippie here, who talk about having their own adventures. After a short dialogue, the missions "The Legend of Hamson" and "The Legend of Skippie" will apparently begin, but these are fake missions, which in reality do not exist. They won't even appear in your diary. The two will then leave and you will be free to enter Lilipeas Village.

The language of the Lilipeas is incomprehensible, like that of the Dudbears. However, Nouvelle is present on site, who will translate what the Lilipea you speak to says, if he is near you. The only Lilipea that matters though, is the one in the top left corner, the village elder. Keep talking to him, to bring Nouvelle closer. Eventually, little by little, the old man will tell you that he wants you to defeat a horrible monster for him. You will then find yourself directly in the boss fight area.

Go right to face the boss, Hegs Ant, a much more powerful version of the Mantis Ant you met at the beginning of the game. Follow the usual strategy valid for many bosses and you shouldn't have too many problems defeating it: attack it wildly with your most powerful weapons (its secondary attacks are negligible) and move away immediately when the boss starts flashing, to escape its more dangerous attacks. As always, a pet/golem and an NPC will help you.

After beating the monster, the elder will give you your reward. After a last funny scene involving Sotherbee waiting for Skippie and Hamson, the mission will end.
