After completing the missions reported above, return to the village of Gato. On the city map you'll see Escad heading to the Temple of Healing. Go there. In front of the blocked Dreamweaver room, you’ll meet Daena. She will say that Escad, an old friend, has finally returned, then she will allow you to go in. This starts officially the mission.

Escad will be talking to Matilda. She will mention what happened since the ten years Escad has been in the Underworld. When you enter, Escad will ask you if you’ve heard everything. Your answer doesn’t matter. After some dialogue about Irwin, he will leave. You can ask other informations to Daena, then exit the room. You’ll see a fallen Nun, and another walking by without caring. Run back into the room. You'll see Daena knocked out, and a person kidnapping Matilda. Then they'll teleport away. Help Daena up, and she will join you if you don’t have already a NPC with you. She will also order to seal up the Temple. Go outside. Escad has trapped the kidnapper on the bridge, but she will teleport again. Daena will say that they could not go far, due to the holy magic of this area. Exit the village and reach the dungeon on the city map.

You’ll meet Escad here. He will say that the place is too vast to search, but Daena will mention a sealed Mediation Room, saying she can arrange for it to be opened. Escad will go off on his own. Daena will offer to take you there. You can then choose whether to reach the meditation room by yourself or accept her offer, to speed things up. If you accept Daena’s offer, don't go to the right yet, but head back left to find a chest with a Holy Water inside. Then go left, reach the next screen, take the upper-left exit and you’ll find a chest with a Vampire Fang. Now go all the way back to the meditation room. Here you’ll meet the kidnapper, who will say that this was a trap for you. Two nuns will take Matilda outside and the boss battle will begin.

Spriggan, the ghost-like boss, has many kinds of attack, including one that can paralize you and one that can put you to sleep. It is also very good at dodging your attacks. It can put you in trouble only if your level is still low. Anyway, if you have at least the Lorant equipment from Polpota Harbor you should be fine. A very easy way to defeat this boss is to have a NPC or Daena keeping it busy and attack it from the distance with a bow. Also medium range weapons like spears work well. Daggers and gloves, instead, are not recommended, since the boss is floating in the air.

After defeating the boss, you'll find yourself in Matilda's room. She will tell you more about Escad and Irwin, then you'll get your reward and the mission will be completed.
