Mega Man X3 was originally released for the Super Nintendo, and then later on released for Sega Saturn, Sony Playstation, and Microsoft Windows.
Main Version Differences[edit]
- Cutscenes for the opening and ending in the SNES version were limited using in-game resources much like earlier Mega Man X games. The re-releases had FMV anime-style cutscenes.
- Music in the re-releases were on discs which allowed them to use remixed and higher quality music and sound effects
- In the re-releases the Mavericks have anime introductions when you enter their stage.
- The PC version has a difficulty selector. Easy mode has the player take less damage from enemies.
