Nam-Cap is a Pac-Man spoof game (its name is that game's spelled backwards) which was designed by Keith A. Erickson for Studio Piña Games and released on iOS on August 13, 2013 (although it was originally released in Adobe Flash on June 14 of the same year); billed as "an arcade cabinet from an alternate universe", it was designed so that it was as far away from that original Pac-Man as possible.

Story

This is from the game's opening cutscene (which appears after the title screen displayed to the right):

Beyond the boundaries of our
own universe exists an
alternate world much like the
one we live in, but in many
ways the exact opposite.
In 1981, researchers crossed
over into this alternate universe
and brought back many
treasures.
Among these items was a
strange purple cabinet labeled
"Nam-Cap".
