In Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012, your goal is to become #1 on the Most Wanted List, just like the original 2005 edition. However, there isn't a revenge story this time. To start, you'll drive a Aston Martin V12 Vantage to your first Jack Spot, which will be for the 2012 Porsche Carrera S. Switch to the Porsche and drive to the "Keys to the City" Sprint Race. Win this race.

Afterwards, install all available performance upgrades for your car. The goal is to earn enough Speed Points to challenge a Most Wanted Driver. To get Speed Points, you must win races, evade the cops, smash through billboards ala Burnout Paradise, smash through security gates ala Burnout Paradise, and also blast through Speed Cameras located all over Fairhaven City, which is the hub for the game. Each car (there are 41 in all), has 5 races available for it. 41 x 5 = 205, so there are 215 races in this game, including the Most Wanted List races. However, there are only around 100 tracks, so you'll be doing the same exact races over and over again, just with different cars. Nevertheless, when you get enough Speed Points to challenge a Most Wanted List Driver, you have to defeat them and then shut them down to gain their car ala Burnout Paradise. Yes, yes, yes, I know I am making many comparisons to BP, but that is because there are many elements similar to BP. After you finally gain 1 million Speed Points, you can challenge the #1 Most Wanted Driver. After defeating the #1 Most Wanted Driver, then I give you my congrats for beating this game!
