Octopus Dance: Undersea Party Grooves! is a solo attraction based on the Game & Watch game Octopus.
Controls[edit]
This game uses the Wii U GamePad, held normally. Keep in mind that these directions correspond to your Mii (ie. at the game's beginning when your Mii is facing you on the TV screen, your left is their right).
: Move left arm
: Move right arm- Tilt GamePad left: Lean left
- Tilt GamePad right: Lean right
- Shake GamePad up: Jump
Gameplay[edit]
This is a simple "Simon Says" rhythm game. Dressed as a deep-sea diver, you must copy the movements of the other diver. The TV shows you and the diver from the front, while the GamePad shows a rear perspective. You start with four lives, and missing any movements in a round will cause you to lose one. If you get no misses in a stage, the diver will reward you with a coin. Occasionally, the diver will turn you around to face away on the TV and forwards on the GamePad, meaning you must look at the other screen to follow the diver's movements. Also, an octopus that comes down in front of you may spit ink onto the GamePad's screen, meaning you must look at the TV screen to follow the diver's movements for a few rounds, keeping in mind which arm(s) they're using and that you must tilt the stick(s) in the opposite horizontal direction you see (ex. if the diver moves their right arm left, you must tilt 
).
After beating the game once, an extra stage is unlocked, which is much longer and more difficult.
