Modes[edit]

There are two different modes to play in this game: Challenge and Versus.

Challenge[edit]

For more information, see Challenge.

In this cooperative mode, Olimar and the Pikmin work together to fight their way through a series of stages to reach Olimar's rocket ship at the end of each level. As hearts are shared between players, they must protect each other and work as a team to progress.

Versus[edit]

For more information, see Versus.

In this competitive mode, Olimar is pitted against the Pikmin, with the goal being to gather more pieces of candy than the other team. Candy is dropped from defeated enemies, and attacking opposing team members will cause them to drop some of their candy.
