Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice, known in Japan as Gyakuten Saiban 6 (逆転裁判6? lit. "Turnabout Trial 6"), is a 2016 adventure game published and developed by Capcom for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the ninth total game in the Ace Attorney series, excluding cross-overs, and the sixth installment of the main lineage. The game was released in Japan on June 9th, 2016, and was released as a digital-only release in North America, Europe and Australia via the Nintendo eShop on September 8th, 2016. It was later released for iOS and Android on September 21, 2017.

On the western edge of the Far East lies the Kingdom of Khura'in, a land of spirit mediums and mystery. The legal system of this country believes it has no use for lawyers, as the Divination Séances, performed by the nation's princess, reveal a victim's final memories, and are said to tell the absolute truth behind a case. The legendary defence attorney Phoenix Wright travels to Khura'in to reunite with his former assistant Maya Fey, but inevitably finds himself caught up in the objectionable Khura'inese courts. Meanwhile in the US, Phoenix's protégés, Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes, are left behind to take care of the Wright Anything Agency, but are forced to face the agency's greatest threat without their mentor's guidance. Three attorneys, in two different nations... What happens when the legal systems of the US and Khura'in collide?

As part of the Apollo Justice Trilogy, a number of enhancements has been made for Steam, Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 5: high-definition picture quality, redesign controls for gameplay that has touchscreen before, text and grammar corrected and as a not to the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, autoplay and story mode has been added as well.
