If this is the arcade version of the game, why even bother with the extra content from the home versions. If anything they should just be mentioned in the here without there being pages for them. I suggest cleaning the pages up and deleting the ones that don't belong. --Vanya (talk) 22:39, 2 June 2014 (UTC)4

The first game with the title "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" was the Ultra game released on the NES, and some home computers, so that guide lives at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Then the arcade game came out, but it was also ported to the NES. There's no reason to make two separate guides for the arcade version and the NES version, all of the content can live here. I know. However, there is already a complete guide for the home versions. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game. If there is no reason for both guides it would stand to reason that this one is the unnecessary one. The other guide mentions the differences to the Arcade version already. So if anything any content relevant to this version should be added to that guide and this one should just redirect over there. Vanya (talk) 00:27, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
Actually, that's a good catch, thank you. Although since this is the original version of the game, and the NES version is a later port of this game, that would make the other guide the superfluous guide. I suggest we do the following. The stages/scenes should not be titled by their number, but rather by where they take place. That way the arcade and console versions don't have to disagree with the numbers. I'll find a way to solve this. Procyon 00:43, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Ugh, you know what, there's already so much content on the other guide, that I'm hesitant to try and merge these two. Technically speaking, we always handled these sorts of things by combining guides when the content was remarkably similar. But since most of the effort was put into the port, and not the original, it makes it hard to try and combine the two. I'll see what I can do, but we may have to go forward with the guides remaining separate, in which case you can go ahead and yank out the console-specific info. Let me see how hard this will be first. Procyon 00:51, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing it out, Vanya. I am merging the content now. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:32, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
