Welcome to StrategyWiki!

Hello Arseny1992! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or chat with other users, visit the IRC channel, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums.

Please remember to sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. When making an edit you can use the preview button below the editing box to verify your change before it is saved. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:42, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Easier editing

The Show preview button (right next to the Save page button) lets you see how your changes will look before saving the page. You can use Show preview as many times as you like until you get the page how you want it. You can also edit the whole page at one time, as opposed to by section, by clicking the Edit tab at the top of the page. Hopefully these little shortcuts will make it easier for you to get the desired result when you're editing, and save you a little time. Thanks for working on the wiki! — Procyon 16:25, 26 July 2018 (UTC)

At first I thought doing so, but opted to section-editing to not suffer from redoing everything in the case if the browser crashes while editing a big page that you edit the whole day simultaneously while extracting the Map.wz resources one by one and checking if the relevant wiki file is the same or needs reupload to update. I'm done with the world maps for now though. --Arseny1992 (talk · contribs) 19:03, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
I find it easier to copy the text for big pages to a real editor (notepad++ or textpad) and do the edits there. Then I paste them back into the page. -- Prod (talk) 21:42, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
