Side quests do not require you to return to the quest giver for completion so you can grab multiple quests and complete them in the wild.

Story Quests[edit]

Delivering Food[edit]

Fiona has made something special for Shulk. Take it to him before it gets cold!

Side Quests[edit]

Side quests in Xenoblade Chronicles are straightfoward as objectives are marked on the Area Maps with an exclamation and the minimap will highlight a route to the objective. Enemies, collectables, and NPCs will have a white bubble with an exclamation over them if they are part of the objective. The biggest challenge you'll face is during combat with unique monsters or monsters at a higher level than you.

Side quests are completely optional. Their main purpose is to provide EXP and money so you can level up your character and buy good gear. If you prefer not to do any side quests then you can still beat the main story.

A Young Captain's Request[edit]

Young Captain Emmy Leater is getting really angry with her subordinate. Go and find that lazybones called Miller.
