- Do the sidequests first. Getting gold and experience makes battling and getting better equipment easier.
- Upgrade arts to make the arts last longer and more effective.
- Tree link as many as you can. Especially if you want them to wear medium and heavy gear. Also more experience and APs.
- Do heart to hearts and many things to build up your party affinity.
- Fill up your collectapeadia by finding as many blue orbs as you can.
