Objectives
  1. Convert the Ballista and bring it to your Town Center.
The great new temple has had a powerful effect on the people of Egypt. Priests are reviatlized in their fervor and are spreading the word up river and along the coast. You are leading a new settlement in the west near Libya where raiders have been harassing Egyptian towns. These raiders possess a powerful new weapon called a Ballista Capture the Ballista and bring it to your town center.

The first thing you want to do is put the villagers to work in their respective areas, then create 2 villagers with the 100 food you have and have them build farms near the granary. Build two or three more villagers and have them explore to the left of the Town Center. Near the river, you'll find a gold deposit with a good amount of gold in it. Put a few villagers to work here mining gold. When you hit 150 gold, research Astrology at the Temple and create another priest when you can. With the rest of the resources you are gathering, upgrade to composite bowmen and create a small army of eight to ten bowmen and composite bowmen- as many as you have gold for. With your army, march across the shallows to the left. The first thing you'll encounter is a wave of enemy bowmen, which you should mow through pretty easily. Save the game here before encountering the ballista. March your expendables in first and hope it takes the bait. While it's busy, bring your priests up and convert it. If it doesn't work the first time, load the save game and try again. When you've converted it, simply roll it to your Town Center.
