Objectives
  1. Build a Wonder
The Pharaoh has decreed that a great monument be built to celebrate our recent victories over the Libyans. This monument gives most of the credit to the pharaoh, of course, but he cannot help with the construction costs or raw materials at this time. you are required to build this monument at your expense. Gather the materials where you can. The Minoans are friendly and may be of help through trade. Beware the Canaanites who may try to undermine trade.

This is one of the first hard missions you have faced in this campaign. Immediately put two villagers to work on the farms and two chopping trees around the Town Center. Use the 100 Food you start with to build two villagers and put them on bush picking duty. As soon as you can, build a barracks and create villagers as fast as you can make them. Villagers you make from this point on should go toward wood cutting. After you have built a barracks, focus all wood you chop on building scout ships and all food you get on axemen or bowmen. I would save around the time the Canaanites make you their enemy, because it usually means you are about to get attacked. The first wave usually consists of some short swordsmen, bowmen and a stone thrower. Have your scout ships focus on the stone thrower while your other troops attack the footmen. If all goes well, you will survive this first attack.

After the first attack, if there is one, build a couple of fishing boats and look for spots to fish and upgrade to war galleys. After that, build a transport and ship a few villagers to the bottom right corner. There is wood here and stone, useful for building guard towers and required for building the wonder. Keep an army of 9 or 10 axemen and bowmen at your main camp at all times, but start spreading out. There's a small island across the shallow part of the river that has lots of trees. Set up a storage pit and level the forest. By now, you should also have a small armada. Explore the map, finding friendly ports you can use for trade as well as the enemy port that you should take out as soon as possible. Once the enemy's dock is gone, you shouldn't have any problem unless there are a few rogue transport ships somewhere on the map.

When the enemy dock is destroyed, the seas will be clear for merchant travel. Build many merchant ships and trade wood for gold at either of the friendly docks that can be found near the bottom of the map. While you're waiting for the gold to stockpile up, clear the top of the enemy's island with your armada. Make an army of two or three transports full of axemen and bowmen and transport them to the now cleared top of the enemy's island. A stone thrower or two will clear the island of towers in no time and free up a small patch of gold now free for mining.

From here, it's just a matter of collecting enough resources to advance to the Iron Age and build a wonder.
