This is the world map for Aigina no Yogen. Each ruin is identified by a number. The ruins are named as follows:
This corresponds to the order in which you will be provided access to each ruin. While each ruin is seperated by the terrain, tunnels and passages can be made to appear when you stand on certain locations or face in certain directions, indicated by the red arrows and spots on the map. Your job will be to visit each ruin, collect the sacred treasure, collect the Aura Star pieces, and rescue the Princess from the final ruin. The full breakdown is provided below.
To make your way through each ruin, you will have to explore many of the rooms contained in the ruins and collect important items. Some rooms contain huts with inhabitants that you can communicate with. Some will sell items to you and buy them from you, and others can translate the ancient tablets and parchments that you find in treasure chests. In order to complete the game, you will have to assemble the five pieces of the Aura Star. This is difficult to accomplish since, not only must you know where to jump three times, you must also have the correct sacred treasure in order to make the secret location appear.
When you enter a room that contains one or more enemy generators, the ladder or escape from the room will not be available immediately. Instead, you must defeat 10 enemies in order to make the escape appear. Once an escape has appeared, and you have passed through it, the escape will remain in place every time you return to visit that room, even if you leave the ruin and return. It is important to remember this, and escape a room before backtracking or visiting a hut. If you return through the entrance or visit a hut before escaping, the defeated enemy count will reset to 0, and you will have to make the escape appear again.
