When you start your first game, you will arrive at the station. Your cousin will be there waiting for you, and tell you that she needs your help. She and her father, your uncle, want to take photos of all the animals around Hana Deka Farm, but they don't like them enough to let them do it. Your cousin has heard that you are good with animals, and asks you to help.
She will then take you to the farm, and in your room you meet your uncle. Then, you go to the main menu and you can choose to go out and meet the animals. If you do this, you will go outside.
And now you can start looking after all the cute animals who your uncle wants photos of.
Select an animal[edit]
To select an animal, use the touch screen to move around the map. Next to some of the locations there will be an animal. There are only three animals available to start with, and one lives at the farm. This animal is a Corgi. All animals which you haven't already named will have a 'new' icon next to them. Select a new animal to name them, or one previously named to carry on building your relationship with them.
Name your animal[edit]
Use the keys which appear on the touch screen to type in a name. You don't have to worry about whether to give it a male or female name as the animals are just 'its'. When you have selected the animals name, confirm that it is correct, and then you need to tap the touch screen with the stylus to call your new friend over.
Album[edit]
When you first name the animal, there will be no hearts in the relationship metre. As you give the animal attention, more hearts will appear, and there are milestones where your uncle or cousin will take photos;
- 4 hearts- Your cousin will take the first three photos of the animal.
- 6 hearts- Your uncle can take another three photos from 'much closer'.
- 8 hearts- Your cousin will take another three photos.
- 10 hearts (full metre)- Your uncle will take another nine photos, making it 18 in total for each animal.
Go to the album to see what cute photos have been taken!
Select which animal you want to view pictures of from the list of them. Animals with photos you haven't seen yet will have 'new' next to them. Select an image to view it on the top screen.
