As you enter the Bronze Hall, D will remember more about Franny. You cannot go any farther as D will want to go to the art room at the lower right door.
Art Studio[edit]
There are three scenes you can examine in the room:
- The art easel in the middle of the room
- A table in the top-right corner of the room
- A chest in the top-left corner of the room
Go to the art easel and examine it to find the portrait of Franny. After you examine the portrait of Franny, D will remember more about Franny as well as something about Henry.
Head to the top-right corner of the room to find the table. Examine it to find DAS Card 02. Next to where the DAS Card was, is a sketch by Richard of what he thinks Ashley will look like.
Go to the top left corner of the room and examine the chest. You'll see some art supplies inside. Later you'll need to come back for the hammer and the roll of paper.
Leave the room and go to room on the opposite side, Henry and Marie's room.
Henry and Marie's Room[edit]
Once you're in the room, examine the dresser near the door to get DAS Card 904.
In the center of the room, you will find a sofa and a coffee table. On the table is a green bottle and a photo. The photo shows a happy family. When you examine the bottle, you'll see a note inside and try to open the seal. It's too tight, so leave it for now.
At the top right area of the room, there are two beds. Examine the area and then zoom in on the nightstand between the beds. On the nightstand is a music box with white dolls on it. One of the dolls is missing.
Go back to the Golden Bird Room through the Music Room and the Slate Hall.
Drummer Doll[edit]
In the Golden Bird Room, go back to the desk where you found the white dolls and the empty gun case before. Examine the dolls, and take the drummer doll.
Go back to the Bronze Hall through the Slate Hall and the Music Room. Go to the Art Studio before heading back to Henry and Marie's room.
Hammer[edit]
Once you're in the Art Studio, go to the chest that you found earlier to get the hammer.
Leave and then return to Henry and Marie's room.
Marie's Letter[edit]
Go back to the coffee table in Henry and Marie's room and use the hammer to open the bottle. Just tap it a few times with your stylus to break it. You'll find the letter and the Gold Bird Key. When you read the letter, you'll learn more about Henry and what Marie had written to him.
Go back to the nightstand and use the drummer doll on the empty slot. Nothing will happen as you still need a key. D will remember something about the music box.
Go to the Bronze Hall.
End of the Hall[edit]
Go to the end of the Bronze Hall and when you tell D that it's a dead end, he'll tell you that there are more rooms beyond it. You'll notice the candle stands and wonder if you have anything to light them.
Now, go to Franny's room.
Franny's Room[edit]
Go to the bottom left corner of the room to find a teddy bear. When you examine it, you'll remember seeing a teddy bear in your dreams.
At the bottom right corner of the room, examine Franny's bed and you'll find a ribbon on it. D will remember more about Franny when you examine the ribbon.
On the desk next to the bed, you'll find a sketch book. Examine it to find woodprints done by Franny. The first shows a happy boy and girl. The second shows a girl that is alone and crying.
Look at the shelf on the left and examine the bottom left compartment to find a wooden box. Examine the box and take the two stamps inside.
Return to the desk and use the stamps on the sketch book. There is a puzzle on the second page to complete the woodprint.
A stamp will be on the left side of the top screen and the print will be on the right side of the bottom screen. Close your DS and then reopen it in order to print the stamp on bottom screen. Close and open your DS again to finish the print. The print will now show a man with one arm chasing the crying girl. D will gain back more memories.
Open the top drawer of desk to get DAS Card 903.
When you leave the room, D will remember that his father's name is Thomas.
Now go to Henry's Study.
Henry's Study[edit]
Examine the table in the middle of the room and click on the frame, then press back.
Find the bookcase with the letter "F" on the top and search the lower right section.
Search the thick, green book with letter "I" on it, to obtain the key for the music box.
Go to the room with angel dolls and use the key on the music box.
Pull (rotate) the key anticlockwise several times and press the 1st, 3rd and 4th button of the dolls. A tune will play and the fireplace in the study will reveal a room.
Henry's Secret Study[edit]
In the study go towards the old photo frame. Behind the white thing you find a base ball. Use it to knock the suitcase down from the top right of the shelf. D will get a flash back and you will pick up the boot in the suitcase.
Look towards the stairs and you will see three crates and on top of one you will see two photographs and a box of matches. Look at the photographs and Ashley will say, "Maybe if we compare the two."
You have to pick out differences between the two. There are two differences, and they are the two wall candles. Next pick up the matches and go to the hallway and walk towards the end of the hallway and look closely at the wall. Use the matches and light the candles exactly like the picture of walls. On the left side, light the bottom-left and top-right candles. On the right side, light the bottom-left and bottom-right candles.
