Between dungeons 1 and 2

An extra Heart Container appears on the beach until 00:28. Check the Heart Containers page for details about its location.

After you collected the Heart Container, head to the shop and purchase Arrows . You can now use your bow.

Now you are ready to challenge the second dungeon. From the shop, head east, then turn north and follow the coastline (you can collect the Letter on your way). When the coastline ends, you are in an area with a big rock at the center of the screen. Place a bomb on its southern side and uncover the entrance to the second dungeon.

Dungeon 2

It is very likely that you are inside Dungeon 2 when you receive these three messages from the Old Man.

1. Boomerang

Defeat all the Goriya enemies in the second room. Collect the Boomerang in the corner of the room.

2. Compass

Continue north and collect the Compass in plain view in the center of the room.

3. Map

Continue north and defeat all the Stalfos skeletons. One of them carries a key. Use it to open the door. In the next room, defeat all the enemies, and the door will open automatically. Head west and collect the Map in plain view.

4. Hint

Go two rooms to the east. Defeat all the enemies, and some bombs will appear. Bomb the north wall. In the next room, use the boomerang to collect the bombs. Walk west, and bomb the wall to the north. In the northmost room, the Old Man gives you this advice: "Dodongo dislikes smoke."

5. Heart Container and Triforce piece

Backtrack one room, defeat all the enemies, collect the key and use it to open the door. In the next room, push the westmost block vertically thus opening the passage to the next area.

You emerge in the Dodongo's room, the boss of this dungeon. Do you have anything that makes smoke? Yes: the bombs. Place a bomb in front of Dodongo , and he will swallow it. After three bombs exploded inside his belly, he is defeated.

Collect Dodongo's Heart Container and the Triforce piece in the next room.

After dungeon 2

At 00:45 the Old Man grants you an infinite amount of bombs until 00:53. It is now time to look for the Medicine Woman and a few more secrets. Use bombs on these screens (A1 is in the South-West corner of the map, F1 is the starting screen), sorted starting from dungeon 2: F5 (west from dungeon 2): medicine woman E4 (dungeon 1): 45 rupees G4 (fairy fountain): 45 rupees E2 (north from start): money game E1 (west from start): "Have you found the dungeon in the One Rock?" (of course you did!)
