[edit] Controls

  • Joystick: Use the 8-way joystick to direct Takky through each stage. As in the original, if you stop holding the joystick up, Takky will float back down to the ground if he's in the air.
  • Firing Button: Use this button to make Takky fire his handheld gun at the enemies, or if he's in his new weapon, the Machine Gun Vessel, fire the guns on the front of it.
  • 1 or 2 Player Buttons: Push these buttons to begin a 1 or 2 player game.

[edit] Takky (タッキー)

The protagonist of the game, replacing Kissy from the original.
To the left is Takky as he is depicted normally. To the right is how he appears in his new weapon, the Machine Gun Vessel, when it has two and three guns on its front respectively.

[edit] Paccets (パケットス)

The yellow ones, when saved, will circle around Takky and add to his score at the end of the stage. The white ones will also circle around him, but won't add to his score because they can't be killed.

  • 1st Paccet: 100, 100 total
  • 2nd Paccet: 200, 300 total
  • 3rd Paccet: 500, 800 total
  • 4th Paccet: 1000, 1800 total
  • 5th Paccet: 2000, 3800 total
  • 6th Paccet: 4000, 7800 total
  • 7th Paccet: 7650, 15450 total

You also get 7650 for all Paccets after that.

[edit] Paccet Ojisan (パケット爺さん)

At the beginning of certain stages, he will appear to give you advice. He also appears in the bonus game which comes before a boss stage.

  • Two-Eyed Blue Worm (2目ブルーウォーム): Appears on the fifth and thirty-sixth stages.
  • Turning Eye (ターニングアイ): Appears on the eleventh stage.
  • Four-Eyed Blue Worm (4目ブルーウォーム): Appears on the seventeenth and twenty-third stages.
  • Dark Paccet (ダークパケット): Appears on the thirtieth stage.
