White Pass is one of the four arctic maps of Bad Company 2 multiplayer. This map is similar to Panama Canal in that it focuses mostly on infantry combat supported with an armoured vehicle for each side.

Official Description: Fight through snow covered woodlands on this narrow map. The cliffside to the west is a great vantage point for snipers, and there will be lots of head-on infantry action. Just be careful not to drop from the cliffside to the east.

Extended Description: As the weather has cleared and snowfall relented, Russian Forces are massing for an assault on White Pass and the satellite relay station located there. The local town has not been attacked, but Russian units have probed defenses in the surrounding woods. The sector has strategic value to U.S Forces as it allows control of inland routes. Should the area fall into Russian hands, a line of advance will present itself directly to Nelson Bay.

Conquest[edit]

White Pass Conquest is a standard three-point map with only one tank per side. As a result a lot of the fighting is going to be infantry combat, most likely in the close confines of the village area.

From west to east:

Squad Deathmatch[edit]

Outcomes[edit]

At the end of the match, a short cutscene will play, depending on which side won. There is one cutscene for each side, but the dialogue that follows varies greatly.

If the Americans win, the satellite relay stands as American forces drive unencumbered through the town.

If the Russians win, the Russian sabotage of the satellite relay station is successful, and is engulfed in a massive explosion.
