Battlefield 2142, is a first person shooter designed and published by Electronic Arts. It is the third game in the Battlefield series. The game takes place in the year 2142 in which a new ice age has fallen upon the world brought on by global warming. The game places a strong focus on its online content which allows players to gain ranks, unlock new weapons, and play along side up to 64 other players. The fate of the world is decided by the players as the Battlefield 2142 maintains recent news in the battlefield.
