Area 1[edit]

Once the Star Fighter reappears at the bottom of the screen (at its original size once again), two groups of two Ika will come flying down towards you, in a straight line while firing some slow-moving projectiles at you on the left and right sides of the screen; once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, a group of six Kurage will come zigzagging towards you in the centre of the screen. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, a group of four Teraji will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen, while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, a group of six Tiara will approach you from the top-left corner of the screen, and retreat once they have seen you. Once you've fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, a Spy Ship from the original Bosconian arcade game will fly down in the centre of the screen, then fly back up off the top of the screen once it reaches the bottom; if you fail to fire enough red shots at it to kill it before it does, a Cosmo-Mine will fly down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen, then explode into eight pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. Another group of six Tiara will then fly towards you from the top-right corner of the screen, then retreat once they have seen you - and once you've fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, a second Spy Ship will fly down in the centre of the screen, fly to the left once it has reached the bottom then fly back away off the top of the screen once it has reached the left side. As with the first one, if you fail to fire enough red shots at it to kill it before it does so, a second Cosmo-Mine will fly down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen then explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. A group of five Perikan will then fly down towards you (from the top of the screen); once they've seen you, they will retreat, and fire some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, switch to the yellow firing pattern as a group of five Choucho come flying down towards you on the left side of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at it - and once you've fired a yellow shot at each of these to kill them, another group of five Choucho will come flying down towards you on the right side of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level while firing off some more slow-moving projectiles at it. Once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern, as another group of five Perikan flies down towards you from the top of the screen; once they have seen you, they will retreat and fire some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired out a red shot at each of these, to kill them, a third Spy Ship from the Bosconian arcade game will come flying down on the left side of the screen and fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached the bottom; as with the other two, if you fail to fire enough red shots at it to kill it before it does it, a third Cosmo-Mine will fly down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which you must destroy if you wish to stay alive. Two more groups of four Kurage will then zigzag towards you, on the left and right sides of the screen - and once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, switch back to the yellow firing pattern again as two more groups of five Choucho come flying down towards you on the left and right sides of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at it. Once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them switch back to the red firing pattern again as a third group of eight Perikan flies down towards you from the top of the screen; once they've seen you they'll retreat and fire some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of these, to kill them, two more Spy Ships from the Bosconian arcade game will come flying down on the left and right sides of the screen - the one on the left side of the screen will fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached the bottom, while the one on the right side of the screen will fly to the left once it has reached the bottom and fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached the left side. As with the other three, if you fail to fire enough red shots at either of them to kill them before they do so, up to two more Cosmo-Mines from the Bosconian arcade game will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen, and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive; two Capsules will then approach you from the top of the screen, fire five missiles which can be destroyed for 50 extra points apiece once they have seen you, and retreat off the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at both of these to kill them, two groups of two Kagerou will come flying towards you, from the top-left and top-right corners of the screen, while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you've fired one red shot at each of them to kill them two more groups of three Tiara will come flying towards you from the top-left and top-right corners of the screen while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you, and retreat once they've seen you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, two more Capsules will approach you from the top of the screen; once they have seen you, they will fire five missiles at you which can be destroyed for 50 extra points apiece, and retreat off the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at both of them to kill them, this fourth group of five Perikan will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen - and once they have seen you, they will retreat and fire some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, a sixth Spy Ship from the Bosconian arcade game will come flying down on the right side of the screen, fly to the left once it has reached the bottom and fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached the left side; as with the other five, if you fail to fire enough red shots at it to kill it before it does, a sixth Cosmo-Mine will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen, and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. Five Owashi will now come flying towards you in straight lines and 90-degree turns from the top of the screen - and once you've fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them a seventh Spy Ship will fly down on the right side of the screen, fly to the left once it reaches the bottom and fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached that left side. As with the other six, if you fail to fire enough red shots at it to kill it before it does so, a seventh Cosmo-Mine will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive; two Killers will then come flying down towards you, from the top of the screen, line up with the Star Fighter's current position on the screen once they have seen it, and fire three fast-moving lasers at it before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at both of these to kill them, two Big Bae will approach you (from the top of the screen), fire three bullets south-west, south-east, and directly ahead of themselves at you once they have seen you, then retreat off the bottom of the screen - and once you fire enough red shots at both of them to kill them, a fifth Capsule will approach you on the left side of the screen, fire five missiles at you and retreat off the bottom of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at it to kill it, a third Big Bae will approach you on the left side of the screen, while a sixth Capsule approaches you in the centre of the screen; once they see you the Big Bae will fire three bullets south-west, south-east and directly ahead of itself at you before retreating off the bottom of the screen, while the Capsule will fire five missiles at you before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at each of them, to kill them, a fourth Big Bae will approach you on the right side of the screen - and once it has seen you, it will fire three bullets south-west, south-east, and directly ahead of itself at you before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you fire enough red shots at it to kill it, a fifth Big Bae will approach you on the left side of the screen - then, once it spots you, it'll fire three bullets south-west, south-east and directly ahead of itself at you, before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at it, to kill it, a sixth Big Bae will approach you from the right side of the screen; once it has seen you, it will fire three bullets south-west, south-east, and directly ahead of itself at you, before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at it to kill it three more Spy Ships from the Bosconian arcade game will come flying down from the top of the screen and fly back up off the top of the screen once they have reached the bottom - and as with those other seven if you fail to fire enough red shots at any of them to kill them before they do so, up to three more Cosmo-Mines from the Bosconian arcade game will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. The background will now start scrolling downwards toward the world's space base as five more Killers approach you from the top of the screen, line up with the Star Fighter's current position once they have seen it and fire three fast-moving lasers at it before retreating off the bottom of the screen; once you have fired enough red shots at each of these to kill them, two more Capsules will approach you from the top of the screen, fire five missiles at you, then retreat off the bottom of the screen. Once you fire enough red shots at both of these to kill them, a fifth group of six Tiara will come flying towards you from the top-right corner of the screen, while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you and retreat once they have seen you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them or they retreat away off the top of the screen, the Star Fighter will proceed to the world's second area.

Area 2[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen, switch to the green firing pattern as twenty Green E-Type Missiles come flying down towards you from the top of the screen; unlike your first encounter with them in the previous world they will split into three Green E-Type Missiles south-west and south-east of themselves once they've seen you (giving you forty more Green E-Type Missiles to deal with). Once you have fired a green shot at each of them to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern as you come up to a formation of three No Launchers, two Blue Missile Launchers, and one Red Missile Launcher which are guarding the entrance to the world's space base - and once again, you will not only have the chance to destroy the "No" that the No Launchers will be firing at you for extra points but you will also have the chance to destroy the "Missiles" that the Missile Launchers will be firing at you as well. However, it is once again advisable to keep moving around the screen in order to avoid getting overwhelmed by them; once you have fired enough red shots at the three No Launchers and the three Missile Launchers to kill them, the Star Fighter will proceed to the world's third and final area, and undergo a third significant increase in size. This world's space base also looks a little like a giant version of the original Bosconian bases.

Area 3[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen (at its larger size once again), switch to that yellow firing pattern, as a Jiara Launcher in the centre of the background launches a group of eight Jiara up at you; once you have fired a yellow shot at each of these ones to kill them, two more groups of two more Jiara will come flying up from the bottom of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level in a manner similar to that of the Choucho. Once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them, to kill them, another Jiara Launcher on the left side of the background will launch a fourth group of eight Jiara up at you - and once you have fired a yellow shot at each of these, to kill them, two more groups of two Jiara will come flying up from the bottom of the screen, then close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level. Once you've fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them a third Jiara Launcher on the right side of the background will launch a seventh group of eight Jiara up at you; once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, two more groups of four Jiara will come flying up from the bottom of the screen, and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level. Once you fire off a yellow shot at each of these to kill them a fourth Jiara Launcher on the right side of the background will launch a tenth group of eight Jiara up at you - and once you have fired a yellow shot at each of these to kill them two more groups of four more Jiara will come flying up from the bottom of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level. Once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them, to kill them, another Furemu Launcher on the right side of the background will launch another group of eight Furemu up at you - and once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, two more groups of four Jiara will come flying up from the bottom of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level. Once you fire a yellow shot at each of them to kill them a third Furemu Launcher on the left side of the background will launch a third group of eight Furemu up at you; once you've fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them a fourth Furemu Launcher in the centre of the background will launch a fourth group of eight Furemu up at you. Once you have fired off a yellow shot at all of these to kill them, a fifth Furemu Launcher on the right side of the background will launch a fifth group of eight Furemu up at you - and once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, two more groups of four Jiara will come flying up from the bottom of the screen, and close in on the Star Fighter once they reach its level. Once you fire off a yellow shot at each of them to kill them a sixth Furemu Launcher on the left side of the background will launch a sixth group of eight Furemu up at you; once you've fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them two more groups of two Jiara will come flying up from the bottom of the screen, and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level. Once you have fired a yellow shot at each of these to kill them, a seventh Furemu Launcher on the left side of the background will launch a seventh group of eight Furemu up at you - and, once you fire a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, a sixth Jiara Launcher in the centre of the background will launch a twentieth group of eight Jiara up at you. Once you have fired off a yellow shot at all of these, to kill them, a seventh Jiara Launcher in the centre of the background will launch a twenty-first group of eight Jiara up at you; once you have fired a yellow shot at each of these to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern, as the world's boss character comes down from the top of the screen and its two protective cannons emerge from the trapdoors on the left and right sides of the screen. The boss will then begin moving to the left (and to the right once it reaches the left side of the screen) above you, while it is firing four yellow balls diagonally ahead of itself at you - and its protective cannons will start firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you fire enough red shots at both of those protective cannons to kill them, this will cause the boss to stop firing for a few seconds; as with the two previous bosses, this will give you a chance to destroy the three shielding devices that are circling around it before it starts firing again. Once you have fired enough red shots at the boss itself to kill it (once again, it changes its colour from blue to yellow to red when hit), any of its balls that are currently on screen will explode, and the Star Fighter will proceed to escape from the space base just before it blows up and travel on to the next world - and you will now receive a 20000-point bonus for destroying the world's space base. The Star Fighter will also be returned to its original size just before the next time it is to reappear at the bottom of the screen, in the game's fourth world.
