Area 1[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen (at its original size for a final time), a group of three Ika will come flying down towards you while firing some slow-moving projectiles at you, on the left side of the screen; once you have fired a red shot at each of these to kill them, a Type 1 Meteor and a Type 3 Meteor will fly down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you fire a red shot at both of these to kill them, they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you're wishing to stay alive - and a Type 2 Meteor, two more Type 3 Meteors and another Type 1 Meteor will then fly down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you fire a red shot at each of them to kill them, they'll explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive; a third Type 1 Meteor, a fourth Type 3 Meteor and a second Type 2 Meteor will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you fire a red shot at each of these, to kill them, they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive - and five Spy Ships from the Bosconian arcade game will then come flying down on the left side of the screen, and fly back up off the top of the screen once they have reached the bottom. If you fail to fire enough red shots at any of them to kill them before they do it, up to five Cosmo-Mines will fly down over the Star Fighter's current screen position, and explode into eight pieces of shrapnel which you must destroy if you wish to stay alive; five more Spy Ships will then come flying down on the right side of the screen, fly to the left once they have reached the bottom and fly back up off the top of the screen once they reach the left side. As with the first five, if you can't fire enough red shots at any of them to kill them before they do so, up to five more Cosmo-Mines will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive - and a third Type 2 Meteor, a fifth Type 3 Meteor, and a fourth Type 1 Meteor will then fly down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them, to kill them, they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive; six Barriers will then come floating down towards you from the top of the screen; once you have fired enough red shots at each of these, to kill them, five Owashi will come flying towards you in straight lines and 90-degree turns. Once you have fired enough red shots at each of these to kill them, four more Owashi will come flying towards you in straight lines and 90-degree turns while a Big Bae approaches you from the top of the screen - and once the Big Bae has noticed you, it will fire three bullets south-west, south-east, and directly ahead of itself at you before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at it to kill it four more Owashi will come flying towards you in straight lines and 90-degree turns; once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them another Big Bae will approach you from the top of the screen. Once it has seen you, it will fire three bullets south-west, south-east and directly ahead of itself at you before retreating off the bottom of the screen - and once you have fired off enough red shots at it to kill it, four more Owashi will come flying towards you in straight lines and 90-degree turns. Once you have fired enough red shots at each of them, to kill them, a third Big Bae will approach you from the top of the screen; once it has seen you, it will fire three bullets south-west, south-east, and directly ahead of itself at you before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at it to kill it, three more Big Bae will approach you, from the top of the screen - and once they spot you, they'll fire three bullets south-west, south-east, and directly ahead of themselves at you, before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, two more Big Bae will approach you from the top of the screen; once they have seen you they will fire three bullets south-west, south-east and directly ahead of themselves at you before retreating off the bottom of the screen. Once you fire enough red shots at both of them to kill them, eight more Spy Ships will fly down, on the left and right sides of the screen - and the four on the left screen side will fly back up off the top of the screen once they have reached the bottom, while the four on that right screen side will fly to the left once they have reached the bottom, and fly back up off the top of the screen once they reach the left side. As with the other ten, if you fail to fire enough red shots at any of them to kill them before they do so, up to eight more Cosmo-Mines will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive; five Killers will then come flying down towards you, from the top-left corner of the screen, line up with the Star Fighter's current position on the screen once they have seen it and fire three fast-moving lasers at it. Once you have fired enough red shots at each of these to kill them, five more Killers will come down from the top-right corner of the screen, line up with the Star Fighter's current position on the screen once they have seen it, and fire three fast-moving lasers at it - and once you have fired enough red shots at each of these to kill them, switch to the yellow firing pattern as you come up to an Enemy Base from the Bosconian arcade game which is rotating on its Y-axis in the centre of the screen. Once you have fired enough yellow shots at it to kill it, switch back to that red firing pattern, as you are passing eight copies of the fourth world's space base in the background and eventually arrive at this world's space base (which looks like a giant planet), before proceeding to the world's second area.

Area 2[edit]

Once the Star Fighter reappears at the bottom of the screen, two groups of five Ika will come flying down towards you while firing off some slow-moving projectiles at you on the left and right sides of the screen; once you have fired one red shot at each of them to kill them, three groups of two Perikan will come flying down towards you on the left side of the screen and retreat once they have seen you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them, to kill them, three more groups of two Perikan will come flying down towards you on the right side of the screen and retreat once they have seen you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, two groups of two Teraji will come flying down towards you from the top-left and top-right corners of the screen while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, four more Perikan will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen, and retreat once they see you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you; once you fire a red shot at each of them to kill them, two more groups of four Teraji will come flying down towards you from the top-left and top-right corners of the screen. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them, to kill them, four more Perikan will fly down towards you from the top of the screen, then retreat once they see you while firing more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, two more groups of four Teraji will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen while firing more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you fire a red shot at each of them to kill them two more groups of three Ika will fly down towards you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you on the left and right sides of the screen; once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them the Star Fighter will arrive at the entrance to the world's space base before proceeding to the world's third and final area and undergoing a sixth and final significant increase in size. Are you tough enough to make it all the way through and kill the final boss character?

Area 3[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen (at its larger size for a final time), three Orange Bosco Cannons will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen; once you have fired out enough red shots at each of these to kill them, switch to the yellow firing pattern as two more Orange Bosco Cannons come flying down towards you on the left and right sides of the screen and two Light Blue Bosco Cannons come flying up towards you from the bottom of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level, in a manner similar to that of the Choucho. Once you have fired enough yellow shots at each of them to kill them, two Green Bosco Cannons will come flying down towards you in the centre of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level - and once you have fired enough yellow shots at both of them to kill them, two more Green Bosco Cannons will fly down towards you on the left side of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they reach its level. Once you fire enough yellow shots at both of them to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern as a sixth Orange Bosco Cannon flies down towards you in the centre of the screen; once you fire enough red shots at it to kill it, four more Orange Bosco Cannons will fly down towards you on the left and right sides of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, switch back to the yellow firing pattern again, as two more Green Bosco Cannons fly down towards you from the top of the screen (then close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level), while two more Light Blue Bosco Cannons come flying up towards you from the bottom of the screen, and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level - and once you have fired enough yellow shots at each of them to kill them, two more Orange Bosco Cannons and a seventh Green Bosco Cannon will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen, then close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level, as a fifth Light Blue Bosco Cannon flies up towards you on the left side of the screen and closes in on the Star Fighter once it has reached its level. Once you have fired enough yellow shots at each of them to kill them, switch back to that red firing pattern again, as four more Orange Bosco Cannons come flying towards you on the left and right sides of the screen; once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, two more Orange Bosco Cannons will come flying down towards you in the centre of the screen. Once you have fired off enough red shots at each of them, to kill them, switch back to the yellow firing pattern for a third time as a sixth Light Blue Bosco Cannon flies up towards you upon the left side of the screen and closes in on the Star Fighter once it reaches its level - and once you fire enough yellow shots at it to kill it switch back to the red firing pattern for the third time as three more Orange Bosco Cannons fly down towards you on the left and right sides of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, switch back to the yellow firing pattern for the fourth time as six more Green Bosco Cannons come flying down towards you on the left and right sides of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level; once you have fired enough yellow shots at each of them to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern for a fourth time, as two more Orange Bosco Cannons come flying down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at both of them to kill them, switch back to the yellow firing pattern for the fifth time as two more Orange Bosco Cannons come flying down towards you from the top of the screen, and four more Light Blue Bosco Cannons come flying up towards you from the bottom of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level - and once you have fired enough yellow shots at each of them to kill them switch back to the red firing pattern for a sixth time as four more Orange Bosco Cannons fly down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at both of them to kill them, switch back to the yellow firing pattern for the seventh time as a fourteenth Green Bosco Cannon flies down towards you on the right side of the screen and closes in on the Star Fighter once it reaches its level while an eleventh Light Blue Bosco Cannon flies up towards you on the left side of the screen and closes in on the Star Fighter once it has reached its level; once you have fired enough yellow shots at both of these, to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern for a seventh time as two more Orange Bosco Cannons fly down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at both of them to kill them, switch back to the yellow firing pattern for the eighth time as two more Green Bosco Cannons come flying down towards you on the left and right sides of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level while two more Light Blue Bosco Cannons fly up towards you (from the bottom of the screen), and close in on the Star Fighter once they reach its level - and once you fire enough yellow shots at each of these,to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern for the eighth time, as you come to a thirty-second and static Orange Bosco Cannon on the right side of the screen. Once you fire enough red shots at it to kill it, the game's "boss" theme will start to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, for the sixth and final time, as the world's boss character comes down from the top of the screen and its two protective cannons emerge from the nearby trapdoors on the screen's left and right sides; the boss will now start moving to the left (and to the right once it reaches the left side of the screen), while firing two white balls diagonally ahead of itself, and one blue ball directly ahead of itself at you, and its protective cannons will start firing even more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired enough red shots at both of the protective cannons to kill them, the boss will stop firing for a few seconds - and, as with the bosses of the five previous worlds, this will give you a chance to destroy the three shielding devices that are circling around it, before it starts firing again. Once you have fired enough red shots at the boss itself to kill it (for the final time, it changes its colour from blue to yellow to red when hit) any of its balls that are currently on screen will explode, and the Star Fighter will proceed to escape from the space base just before it blows up; you will then receive a 20000-point bonus for destroying the world's space base, along with a 40000-point bonus for every life you have remaining on account of the fact that you have won the game. You can now sit back and enjoy the ending - which shows the Star Fighter returning to the mothership seen in the opening cutscene at its original size (and passing the destroyed space bases of the five previous worlds), while the game's staff credits are appearing on the screen and an extended version of the game's opening theme is being heard from the Yamaha YM-2151:

After the credits have finished, that text "1/2 PLAYER GAME OVER" will appear on the screen; the game will then go into high-score mode, as the high-score theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151. Your score will most likely be the highest upon the cabinet to date, so you should enter your initials up at the top of that table with pride - and once you have done so (or the sixty-second timer has run out), the game will go back into attract mode.
