[edit] Controls

Joystick: Use the 4-way joystick to direct the tank "Vanguard", the helicopter "Maiheriko" and the boat "Maiboto" around the screen. Maiheriko and Maiboto are always moving forward, but you can direct them anywhere.
Firing Button: Use this button to make Vanguard, Maiheriko and Maiboto fire at the enemies.
Bomb Button: Use this button to make Vanguard fire anti-aircraft missiles if it has normal shot, and to make Maiheriko drop bombs.
1 or 2 Player Buttons: Push these buttons to begin a 1 or 2 player game.

[edit] Vanguard (バンガード)

The player's tank.
To the left is Vanguard as it appears when it has normal shot. To the right is how it appears when it has 4-way shot and torpedo shot respectively.

[edit] Maiheriko (マイヘリコ)

The player's helicopter.

The player's boat.

[edit] Powerups

When Vanguard hits air-based enemies with its anti-aircraft missiles, they will sometimes leave these behind.

Oil (オイル): Will restore some of Vanguard's fuel.
Full Oil (フルオイル): Will increase the size of Vanguard's fuel meter.
Shield (シールド): Will make Vanguard invincible for a short period of time.
Extend (エクステンド): If Vanguard obtains enough of these, it will receive an extra life.
