Clocks: 14
Golden Carrots: 26

In this game, Marvin (initially named "Commander X2" in the 1948 short Haredevil Hare) is, like Rocky and Muggsy, voiced by Joe Alaskey (1952-2016):

Bugs:
Now, er...where the heck am I?
Hey...excuse me! Pardon me!
Marvin:
Oh, my! What a wonderful earthling specimen to test my new Space Modulator experience!

Space Base, Area 1[edit]

Once Bugs has rematerialized in a teleporter you will have to direct him onto a vertically-moving platform (which will carry him down to another solid one and a Checkpoint as the text "GARBAGE STORAGE..." appears at the bottom of the screen; once you've passed the Checkpoint (you do not want to be forced to pass it again later) you'll have to jump down onto a third platform and kick a switch to start another platform moving horizontally. You shall then have to collect a Golden Carrot, and jump over a moving electrical current onto a conveyor belt (that is moving the way Bugs must go) to collect another Golden Carrot - and once you have done so you shall have to jump onto a fourth platform and over another moving electrical current. You will then have to collect a third Golden Carrot, and jump over a third moving electrical current to collect a fourth Golden Carrot; once you have done so, you shall have to jump back over the third electrical current, and direct Bugs onto another vertically-moving platform (which will carry him up to a third vertically-moving one, and once he's walked onto this one, it will carry him up to a fourth solid platform, and another Checkpoint). Once you have passed the Checkpoint, you will have to walk onto the aforementioned now-horizontally-moving platform to get carried over to a fifth solid one - and once Bugs has walked onto it, a Robot will fire a shot at an Instant Martian (from the 1958 short Hare-Way to the Stars which this level seems to be based on), temporarily freezing him. Once you've kicked the Instant Martian to make him shatter (if you cannot do it quickly enough he will unfreeze and you will have to get the Robot to refreeze him by standing near him and moving when it fires), you will have to direct Bugs towards a fifth Golden Carrot and a Clock (while the Robot goes after, and fires more shots at, him); if one of the shots freezes Bugs, you will have to repeatedly press Cross button (Windows: D) to make him thaw out before the freeze either knocks him out or the Robot catches him and sends him through the garbage disposal all the way back to the first Checkpoint.

You then have to jump onto a green platform to make another one appear in front of it, then jump onto the second one before the first one disappears; once you've jumped onto eighteen more green platforms in turn before their predecessors disappeared, and collected three more Golden Carrots, you will have to jump onto a sixth solid platform and collect a ninth Golden Carrot. You will then have to direct Bugs towards a third Checkpoint - and once he has passed it you shall have to direct him towards a tenth Golden Carrot and another Clock. Once you have collected them, you will have to direct Bugs towards an eleventh Golden Carrot (alerting another Robot to his presence in the process), then stand in front of two more Instant Martians and move when the Robot fires at him, so that its shots will freeze them instead; once you have kicked both of the Instant Martians, to make them shatter, you shall have to jump onto another conveyor belt which is again moving the way Bugs must go, a seventh solid platform, a third conveyor belt which once again moves the way Bugs must go and an eighth solid platform in turn to collect a twelfth Golden Carrot, then kick another switch to shut down electrical force field. You will then have to retrace your steps back to the seventh platform, and direct Bugs under a pair of two-ton weights when they raise up (they'll immediately knock him out if they flatten him) - and you'll then have to direct Bugs through that now-shut-down electrical force field to collect a third Clock. You will then have to pass a fourth Checkpoint, direct Bugs into another teleporter, and press R1 button (Windows: R) to activate it.

Once Bugs has rematerialized in a third teleporter, you'll have to direct him towards two more Golden Carrots and a fourth Clock; once you've collected them, you will have to direct Bugs into a fourth teleporter, and R1 button (Windows: R) to activate it. Once Bugs has rematerialized in a fifth teleporter, you will have to collect a fifth Clock - and once you have done so, you will have to either jump over or roll under two green laser beams (depending on their changing positions). You shall then have to either jump over, or roll under, a third green laser beam to collect a fifteenth Golden Carrot; once you have done so, you'll have to jump over two more moving electrical currents, and kick a door open. Once you've run through this door, you'll have to collect a sixth Clock and two more Golden Carrots (alerting a third Robot to your presence in the process), stand in front of two final Instant Martians and move when the Robot fires at Bugs so that its shots shall freeze them instead - and once you have kicked both of the Instant Martians to make them shatter, you shall have to jump onto the Super-Upper elevator (also out of Hare-Way to the Stars) up to Space Base, Area 4 (there is no "Area 2" or "Area 3").

Space Base, Area 4[edit]

Once the Super-Upper elevator has stopped moving, you shall have to direct Bugs off it and pass a fifth Checkpoint; once you have done so, you shall have to jump over a hole to collect an eighteenth Golden Carrot. You'll then have to direct Bugs through an electrical trap (while jumping over the eight shots it fires at him), jump over or roll under three more green laser beams, and kick a switch to make three more platforms raise up - and once you've done so, you'll have to retrace your steps back to where you collected that eighteenth Golden Carrot, run down a ramp, and direct Bugs towards three more Golden Carrots. You'll then have to jump up to each of the three now-raised platforms and another solid one in turn, and jump on a red button to make it turn green and activate a green force-field platform (which is on a forty-second timer); you shall then have to retrace your steps back up to the fifth Checkpoint, jump onto a fourth conveyor belt and a third solid platform in turn, jump over or roll under a sixth green laserbeam, jump on the green force-field platform, and jump onto a fourth solid platform to collect a twenty-second Golden Carrot. You shall then have to jump onto one of two more conveyor belts and a fifth solid platform in turn, then direct Bugs towards a sixth Checkpoint - and once you have passed it, you will have to jump onto seventh conveyor belt and a sixth solid platform in turn, run onto a vertically-moving platform to get carried up onto a seventh solid platform, and jump onto an eighth conveyor belt and solid platform in turn (while watching out for a fan that is trying to blow Bugs back off it again). You shall now have to jump onto a ninth conveyor belt and solid platform in turn, to collect a seventh Clock; once you've done this, you will have to kick a third switch to shut down another electrical force field, and cause a computer terminal to rise out of the ground. You will now have to retrace your steps back down to the fifth solid platform, jump on another red button to make it turn green and reactivate the green force-field platform (this time, it's only on a thirty-second timer), and retrace your steps over to the first solid platform - and once you have done so, you shall have to run back down the ramp and direct Bugs through the now-shut-down electrical force field into a dome containing a revolving electrical trap (running round it in an anticlockwise direction twice, once to collect a twenty-third Golden Carrot, and the second time to go through the exit). You'll then have to direct Bugs under a third two-ton weight collect a twenty-fourth Golden Carrot; once you have done so, you will have to run under two more two-ton weights, and pass a seventh Checkpoint.

Once you have pressed R1 button (Windows: R), to activate that risen computer terminal, the text "WOW! YOU CAN USE THIS REMOTE CONSOLE TO CONTROL THE ROBOT. USE THE DIRECTIONAL BUTTONS AND THE JUMP BUTTON TO MOVE, AND THE KICK BUTTON TO SHOOT. COOL, HEY?" will appear at the bottom of the screen; once the transparent platform sinks into the pit and comes up with a (green-antenna) Robot on it, you'll have to direct it toward the "Robots Only" elevator on the platform's right side, as "PRESS THE Circle button BUTTON (Windows: "CROUCH KEY S") TO USE THE ELEVATOR!" appears at the bottom of the screen. Once the elevator has come down, you have to direct the Robot onto it and make the elevator go back up again - and once you have done so you will have to make the Robot fire two shots at a stationary cannon to destroy it (if the Robot is hit, it will lose its non-firing arm, but if it is hit a second time, it will collapse and must be resurrected). Once you have destroyed the cannon, you will have to direct the Robot up a ramp while watching out for three satellites which could force it off for an instant KO, and fire two shots at a second, horizontally-moving cannon to destroy it; once you've done so, you will have to make it fire a shot at a red-antenna Robot to destroy it. You will then have to direct the Robot towards a third horizontally-moving cannon and fire two shots at it to destroy it - and once you have done so, you shall have to fire a shot at another red-antenna Robot to destroy it. You shall now have to direct the Robot towards a fourth horizontally-moving cannon and fire two shots at it to destroy it; once you have done it, the third electrical force field in front of Bugs down below will be shut down, and control will be switched back to him.

You will then have to direct Bugs through the now-shut-down electrical force field, jump onto a pole on the platform's left side and a tenth solid platform in turn, and collect an eighth Clock; once you have done so you shall have to retrace your steps back over to the first solid platform, jump onto another pole on the platform's right side and an eleventh solid platform in turn, and collect a ninth Clock. You'll then have to retrace your steps back over to the first solid platform again, direct Bugs to a spring symbol, and press R1 button (Windows: R) to activate the Super Jump - and once Bugs says Olley-Olley-Oxen-Free!, he will get propelled up to a twelfth platform with two last Golden Carrots on it. Once you have collected them, you will have to direct Bugs onto another spring symbol and push R1 button (Windows: R) to activate the Super Jump again; once Bugs says Olley-Olley-Oxen-Free! again he will get propelled up to a thirteenth platform with a tenth Clock on it. Once you've collected it you shall have to direct Bugs into a sixth teleporter and push R1 button (Windows: R) to activate it - and this teleporter leads to Space Modulator (the full name of which is "The Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator").

Space Modulator[edit]

Once Bugs has rematerialized in a seventh teleporter, you shall have to direct him towards a platform (the path from that teleporter to it shall disappear behind him once you have done so); Marvin attacks by firing red rays (which must be jumped over), green ones (which must be rolled under), and balls of electricity (which, when they hit the two masts on either side of the platform, will travel down them, and electrify their half of it). Eventually, the Space Modulator will short out and Marvin will say "Oh! This is very annoying!" as he gets down from it and starts repairing it - and a green force-field platform in front of Bugs shall also activate allowing him to jump onto it and the Modulator's platform in turn and kick Marvin (to which he will say "Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh!" as he jumps onto another force-field platform and another regular one in turn). Once the process has been repeated three more times a saucer will appear as Marvin gets into it and flies away (and the last four Clocks, that had been suspended above the platforms, fall down so Bugs can collect them); all four green force-field platforms will also reactivate for this point, and once Bugs has collected the last four Clocks you'll have to direct him back up the path from the first platform (which has also been restored) to the seventh teleporter, and press R1 button (Windows: R) to finish the level.

Once Bugs has rematerialized in this level's teleporter, Merlin shall appear and state: Great. Just perfect. You have completed this level. before showing him that (because he now has either 138 or 139 Golden Carrots and 58 Clocks) he has now opened Objects in the Mirror are Closer Than They Appear; he shall then say Let me save your position.. Regardless of your answer "YES" or "NO", you shall now have to activate the Time Machine, move it left to select The 1930s, and press Start button (Windows: Enter) to enter it once again - and once you have done so, you will have to direct Bugs towards the now-open garbage can (although the other seven in the level selector can be kicked to make their lids jump up for a split-second, they do not do anything) of Objects in the Mirror are Closer Than They Appear (which happens to be the only "driving and riding" level in the game), jump onto it and dive into it. At this point, Bugs' amount of Golden Carrots is also determined by whether you had decided to leech 99 Normal Carrots in Follow the Red Pirate Road or not (because if you didn't do that, you would not have been able to collect the transparent Golden Carrot in The Pirate Years level selector area yet).
