World 1: "BEGINNER'S QUEST"[edit]

Best lap: 0'50"0

Welcome to the Expert Course. Once the maze and ball have appeared on the screen (and that starting light has changed, from red to yellow to green), the ball will fall down onto the first wall of the maze, and the timer will start counting down; you will then have to rotate the maze 180 degrees either way to make the ball fall onto the second wall, rotate it 90 degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the third wall, rotate it 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the fourth wall, rotate it 90 more degrees clockwise, to make it fall onto the fifth wall (which, because it is slanted, it will roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise, to make it fall onto the sixth wall (which, because it is again slanted, it will again roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the seventh wall, rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise to make it fall down onto the eighth wall, rotate it back 90 degree anticlockwise to make it fall onto the ninth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the tenth wall (while watching out for two "Timer Down" wall tiles), rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise and make it fall onto the eleventh wall, rotate it back 90 more degree clockwise to make it fall onto the twelfth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the thirteenth wall, rotate back 90 degrees clockwise and make it fall down onto the fourteenth wall, and rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise and make it fall down onto the goal point. Once you have done so, the text "WORLD 1 COMPLETE!" will appear on the screen as the camera zooms in on the maze while rotating in anticlockwise direction until it has disappeared - and the text "LAP TIME" shall now get displayed on the screen, with the text "X'XX"XX" (and "A NEW RECORD", given that the first best lap time is, once again, more than the starting time, so you will once again have no choice but to usurp it, but it will still be reset when the cabinet is turned off, as Taito's F2 games do not use NVRAM) next to it. Below that, the text "TIME BONUS" shall be displayed with the text "XX.X SEC X 100 = XXX0 POINTS"" (XX.X and XXX0 being your remaining time and resulting bonus respectively) next to it and you will receive a bonus of your remaining time multiplied by 100; below that, the text "TIME EXTEND +35 SEC." shall be displayed as your remaining time is extended by thirty-five seconds. The text "GO TO NEXT WORLD!" will then appear at the bottom of the screen and you'll proceed onward to World 2.

World 2: "DECEMBER CELLAR"[edit]

Best lap: 0'40"0

Once the maze and ball have appeared on the screen, and that starting light has changed from red to yellow to green, the ball will fall down onto the first wall of the maze, and the timer will start counting down again; you will then have to rotate the maze 180 degrees either way to make the ball fall onto the second wall, rotate it 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the third wall, and rotate it 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the second of a group of four blocks (and destroy it for 1000 extra points). Once you have done this, you will have to rotate the maze 90 more degrees clockwise and make the ball fall onto the fifth wall (while watching out for a "Timer Down" wall tile, and because the fifth wall is slanted it will roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the sixth wall, which in turn is also slanted, so it will again roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the seventh wall, but you will have to watch out for another "Timer Down" wall tile, and because that seventh wall is once again slanted, it will once again roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall down onto the eighth wall (which, because it is yet again slanted, it will yet again roll down it of its own accord), and rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the first of another group of seventeen more blocks while watching out for a third "Timer Down" wall tile, and destroying it for 1000 more extra points to land on the ninth wall - and once you've done this, you'll have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees clockwise, to make the ball fall down onto the first of a third group of nine more blocks (ignoring the other sixteen in the previous group, despite the ninth one being a +3 one, and destroying it for 1000 more extra points, to land on the tenth wall). Once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 more degrees clockwise, to make the ball fall onto the first in a fourth group of three more blocks (ignoring the other eight in that previous group, and destroying it for 1000 more extra points to land on the eleventh wall); once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 more degree clockwise, to make the ball fall onto the twelfth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the thirteenth wall while watching out for a fourth "Timer Down" wall tile, and rotate it back 90 more degree anticlockwise, to make it fall down onto the second in a fifth group of two more blocks (destroying it for 1000 more extra points to fall through the hole and land on the second in a sixth group of two more blocks, and destroying it for 1000 more extra points to land on the thirteenth wall). Once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make the ball fall onto the fourteenth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise and make it fall onto the fifteenth wall (while watching out for three more "Timer Down" wall tiles), rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the sixteenth wall (which, because it is for a fifth time slanted, it shall for a fifth time roll down it of its own accord, and fall down onto the seventeenth wall), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the eighteenth wall (which, because it is for a sixth time slanted, it will for a sixth time roll down it of its own accord and fall down to the nineteenth wall, but you'll have to watch out for an eighth "Timer Down" wall tile, and because the nineteenth wall is for a seventh time slanted it will for a seventh time roll down it of its own accord, but you'll have to watch out for a ninth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twentieth wall (which, because it is for an eighth time slanted, it will for an eighth time roll down it of its own accord, but you will have to watch for a tenth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the twenty-first wall (which, because it is for a ninth time slanted, it shall for a ninth time roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the twenty-second wall (which because it's for a tenth time slanted it will for a tenth time roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-third wall (which because it is for an eleventh time slanted, it will for an eleventh time roll down it of its own accord, but you'll have to watch out for eleventh "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-fourth wall (which because it is for a twelfth time slanted, it will for a twelfth time roll down it of its own accord, and fall onto the twenty-fifth wall, but you will have to watch out for two more "Timer Down" wall tiles, and because the twenty-fifth wall is for a thirteenth time slanted it will for a thirteenth time roll down it of its own accord), and rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the goal point - and once you do it, the text "WORLD 2 COMPLETE!" will appear on the screen, as the camera zooms in on the maze while rotating in an anticlockwise direction until it has disappeared. The text "LAP TIME" shall now be displayed on the screen with the text "X'XX"XX" (and, if you had usurped the best lap time, "A NEW RECORD") next to it; below it, the text "TIME BONUS" will get displayed, with "XX.X SEC X 200 = XXX0 POINTS"" (XX.X and XXX0, again, being the remaining time and resulting bonus respectively) next to it, as you receive a bonus of your remaining time multiplied by 200. Below that "TIME EXTEND +35 SEC." will be displayed as your remaining time's again extended by thirty-five seconds - and that text of "GO TO NEXT WORLD!" shall then get displayed at the bottom of the screen for a second time, and you will proceed onward to World 3. It's also worth noting that the iconic "sun-bird" of Namco's Xevious series is seen in the background of this stage.

World 3: "DOWN TO HEAVEN"[edit]

Best lap: 0'60"0

Once the maze and ball have appeared on the screen, and that starting light has changed from red to yellow to green, the ball will fall down onto the first wall of the maze and the timer shall start counting down again; you will then have to rotate the maze 90 degrees clockwise to make the ball roll down the slanted first wall of its own accord, then fall onto the second one (while watching out for a "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall down onto the third wall, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall down onto the fourth wall while watching out for another "Timer Down" wall tile, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the fifth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall down towards the sixth wall, then rotate it 90 more degrees clockwise before it falls too far to make it continue falling down to the seventh wall (while watching out for a third "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise, and make it fall onto the eighth wall (while watching out for two more "Timer Down" wall tiles), rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the next three walls in turn and collect a 1000-point arrow (while watching out for a fifth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it collect two more 1000-point arrows and fall towards the twelfth wall, then rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise before it falls too far to make it continue falling to the thirteenth wall, rotate it back a few degrees clockwise to make it fall to the fourteenth wall, rotate it back a few degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the fifteenth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the sixteenth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise, and make it fall onto the seventeenth wall (while watching for a sixth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back a few degrees anticlockwise to make it fall down to the eighteenth wall (and collect two more 1000-point arrows in a dead end), rotate it back a few degrees clockwise, to make it fall to the nineteenth wall, rotate it back a few degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the twentieth wall (while watching out for a seventh "Timer Down" wall tile!), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise, to make it fall onto the twenty-first wall (while watching out for an eighth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back a few degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the twenty-second wall, rotate it back a few degrees anticlockwise (to make it fall down towards a group of two blocks), then rotate it back a few degrees clockwise before it falls too far to avoid destroying one of them and landing on a ninth "Timer Down" wall tile. Once you've done so, you'll have to rotate the maze back a few degrees anticlockwise as the ball continues falling down toward another group of two more blocks, to avoid destroying one of them and landing on tenth "Timer Down" wall tile, and rotate it back a few degrees clockwise as it lands on the twenty-third wall - and once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back a few more degrees clockwise, to make the ball fall onto next two walls in turn, rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise to make it pass a changing barrier (if it lands on it while it's red and saying "STOP! STOP!" you will have to wait until it changes its colour and phrase to green and "GO! GO!" before it'll pass through it) and fall onto the goal point (while watching out for twelve more "Timer Down" wall tiles). Once you've done so the text "WORLD 3 COMPLETE!" shall appear on the screen, as the camera zooms in on the maze while rotating anticlockwise until it's disappeared; the text "LAP TIME" will then be displayed on the screen, with the text "X'XX"XX" (and again, if you usurped the best lap time, "A NEW RECORD") next to it - and below that, the text "TIME BONUS" will be displayed, with the text "XX.X SEC X 300 = XXX0 POINTS"" (XX.X and XXX0, once again, being your remaining time and resulting bonus respectively) next to it as you receive the bonus of your remaining time multiplied by 300. Below it, the text "TIME EXTEND +35 SEC." will be displayed as your remaining time is once again extended by thirty-five seconds - and the text of "GO TO NEXT WORLD!" shall then get displayed at the bottom of the screen for a third time (however, unlike the two previous courses, this one is comprised of eight rounds).

World 4: "HEART OF DIAMOND"[edit]

Best lap: 0'60"0

Once the maze and ball have appeared on the screen, and that starting light has changed from red to yellow to green, the ball will fall down onto the first wall of the maze, and the timer shall start counting down again; you will then have to rotate the maze 90 degrees clockwise, to make the ball fall onto the second wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise (to make it fall onto the third wall), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise, to make it fall onto the fourth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise and make it fall onto the fifth wall, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall down towards the sixth wall, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it continue falling onto the seventh wall, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall down onto the eighth wall, while watching out for two "Timer Down" wall tiles, rotate it 90 more degrees clockwise, to make it fall onto the ninth wall (which as it is slanted, it will roll down it of its own accord), rotate it 90 more degrees clockwise, to make it fall down to the tenth wall (which as it is again slanted, it shall again roll down it of its own accord, and fall down onto two of a group of eight blocks, destroying them both for 1000 extra points apiece, and continuing to fall towards another group of four more blocks). You will then have to rotate the maze 90 more degrees clockwise, before the ball falls too far (to avoid destroying one of the second group of four blocks and landing on one of two more "Timer Down" wall tiles), and make it continue falling onto the eleventh wall (which, as it is once again slanted, it will once again roll down it of its own accord) - and, once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees anticlockwise, to make the ball fall onto the twelfth wall (which, as it is yet again slanted, it will yet again roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the thirteenth wall (which as it is for a fifth time slanted, it will for a fifth time roll down it of its own accord onto the fourteenth wall, which is for a sixth time slanted so it will for a sixth time roll down it of its own accord), rotate back 90 degrees clockwise (while watching out for a fifth "Timer Down" wall tile) to make it fall onto the fifteenth wall (which, as it is for the seventh time slanted, it will for a seventh time roll down it of its own accord and onto a bumper, which it will bounce off for 500 extra points and fall onto the sixteenth wall, which is for an eighth time slanted so it will for an eighth time roll down it of its own accord). Once you've done so you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make the ball fall onto the seventeenth wall (which as it is for a ninth time slanted, it will for a ninth time roll down it of its own accord and fall down toward the eighteenth wall), then rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise before it falls too far to make it fall onto the nineteenth wall, rotate it back 180 degrees either way, to make it fall onto the twentieth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-first wall, and rotate it back a few degrees anticlockwise to make it enter a warp area that will automatically make it roll down, right, left and up to the twenty-second wall; once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back a few degrees anticlockwise to make the ball fall onto the twenty-third wall (while watching out for a sixth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-fourth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall towards the twenty-fifth wall (while watching out for two more "Timer Down" wall tiles), then rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise, before it falls too far, to make it continue falling onto the twenty-sixth wall (while watching out for a ninth "Timer Down" wall tile!), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the twenty-seventh wall (which, because it is for a tenth time slanted, it'll for a tenth time roll down it of its own accord, but you have to watch out for a tenth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall to the twenty-eighth wall (which because it is for an eleventh time slanted, it will for an eleventh time roll down it of its own accord) and rotate it back 180 degrees either way to make it fall onto the goal point. The text "WORLD 4 COMPLETE!" shall appear on the screen as the camera zooms in on the maze while rotating anticlockwise until it has disappeared - and the text "LAP TIME" will now be displayed on the screen, with the text "X'XX"XX" (and once again, if you'd usurped the best lap time, "A NEW RECORD") next to it. Below that, the text "TIME BONUS" will be displayed with the text "XX.X SEC X 400 = XXX0 POINTS"" (XX.X and XXX0, yet again, being your remaining time and resulting bonus respectively) next to it as you receive the bonus of your remaining time multiplied by 400; below that, the text "TIME EXTEND +35 SEC." will be displayed as your remaining time is yet again extended by thirty-five seconds. Below it, the text "GO TO NEXT WORLD!" will appear, for the fourth time on this course.

World 5: "MOULIN ROUGE"[edit]

Best lap: 0'60"0

Once the maze and ball have appeared on the screen, and the starting light has changed from red to yellow to green, the timer shall start counting down again; you then have to rotate the maze 90 degrees clockwise to make the ball fall onto the first wall of the maze (while watching out for a "Timer Down" wall tile) and rotate it back 180 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto one of a group of six blocks (the second one's a +3 one), destroying it for 1000 extra points and falling onto the second wall (which, because it is slanted, it shall roll down it of its own accord). Once you have done so you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees clockwise, to make the ball fall onto the third wall (which, because it is again slanted, it will again roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the fourth wall, which is in a warp area that shall automatically make it jump back up out of it) - and once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees anticlockwise for to make the ball fall onto the fifth wall (while watching out for another "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the sixth wall, and rotate it 90 more degrees clockwise to make it fall to the seventh wall (which is in another warp area which shall automatically make it roll to the right, destroying two of a second group of eight more blocks for 1000 more extra points apiece, and down the slanted sixth wall into a third warp area that will automatically make it roll back to the left out of it again!). Once you have done so, you'll have to rotate the maze 180 more degrees clockwise to make the ball fall onto the seventh wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the ninth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise (to make it fall onto the tenth wall), and rotate it back a few degrees clockwise to make it fall onto one of a third group of two more blocks, destroying it for 1000 more extra points and falling onto the eleventh wall; once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back a few degrees anticlockwise, to make the ball fall onto one of a fourth group of four more blocks (destroying it for 1000 more extra points and falling onto the twelfth wall). Once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make the ball pass a changing barrier (if it lands on it while it's red and saying "STOP! STOP!", you'll have to wait until it changes its colour and phrase to green and "GO! GO!" before it shall pass through it) and fall down to the thirteenth wall, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it pass another changing barrier (again, if it is green and says "GO! GO!") and fall onto the fourteenth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it pass third changing barrier (once again, if it's green and saying "GO! GO!") and fall towards the fifteenth wall, then rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise before it falls too far to make it fall onto the sixteenth wall (while watching out for a third "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the seventeenth wall, while watching out for a fourth "Timer Down" wall tile, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall to eighteenth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall towards a fourth changing barrier, then rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise before it falls too far to make it continue falling down onto the nineteenth wall (and collect a 1000-point arrow) and rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto one of a fifth group of six more blocks (the fifth of which is a -3 one which will cost you three seconds if destroyed, so you should avoid it if possible!), destroying it for 1000 extra points, and falling onto the twentieth wall (which, as it's yet again slanted, it'll yet again roll down it of its own accord and land on each of the next nine walls, which are for a fifth time also slanted, in turn, collecting two more 1000-point arrows when it lands on the twenty-sixth and twenty-seventh walls). Once you've done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees anticlockwise, to make the ball fall onto the thirty-first wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the thirty-second wall while watching out with two more "Timer Down" wall tiles, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the thirty-third wall (while watching out for two more "Timer Down" wall tiles) and collect a fourth 1000-point arrow, and rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall through a fourth warp area and land on the thirty-fourth wall - and once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 more degrees clockwise to make the ball fall through a fifth warp area and land on the thirty-fifth wall. Once you have done so you will have to rotate the maze back 90 more degrees clockwise to make the ball fall through a sixth warp area, then rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise before it falls too far to make it fall on the goal point; once you've done so the text "WORLD 5 COMPLETE!" shall appear on the screen as the camera zooms in on the maze while rotating in an anticlockwise direction until it disappears. The text "LAP TIME" will then be displayed on the screen with the text "X'XX"XX" (and for a fifth time, if you had usurped that best lap time, "A NEW RECORD") next to it - and below that, the text "TIME BONUS" shall be displayed, with the text "XX.X SEC X 500 = XXX0 POINTS"" (XX.X and XXX0, for the fifth time, being your remaining time and resulting bonus respectively) next to it, as you receive the bonus of your remaining time multiplied by 500. Below it, the text "TIME EXTEND +35 SEC." shall be displayed, as your remaining time is (for a fifth, but no longer, penultimate, time) extended by thirty-five seconds; the text "GO TO NEXT WORLD!" will now be displayed at the bottom of the screen for a fifth time.

World 6: "ANCIENT BATTLESHIP"[edit]

Best lap: 0'60"0

Once the maze and ball have appeared on the screen, and that starting light has changed from red to yellow to green, the ball will fall down onto the first wall of the maze and the timer shall start counting down again; you will then have to rotate the maze 180 degrees clockwise to make the ball fall onto the second wall (while watching for a "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it 90 more degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the third wall, rotate it 90 more degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the fourth wall (which, because it's slanted, it shall roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the fifth wall, but you will have to watch for another "Timer Down" wall tile!), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the sixth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the seventh wall (which, as it is again slanted, it will again roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the eighth wall (which, because it is once again slanted, it will once again roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the ninth wall), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the tenth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the eleventh wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twelfth wall (which, because it is yet again slanted, it will yet again roll down it of its own accord, and fall onto the thirteenth wall), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the fourteenth wall, rotate it back a few degrees clockwise, to make it fall onto the fifteenth wall, while watching out for a third "Timer Down" wall tile, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise (to make it fall to the sixteenth wall), rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall to the seventeenth wall, rotate it back a few degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the eighteenth wall (which, as it is for a fifth time slanted, it will for a fifth time roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the nineteenth wall, but you shall have to watch out for a fourth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the twentieth wall (while watching out for a fifth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise (to make it fall onto the twenty-first wall), rotate it back 180 more degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-second wall (which because it's for a sixth time slanted, it will for a sixth time roll down of its own accord, then fall onto the twenty-third wall), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto a bumper (which it shall bounce off for 500 extra points, and fall down onto the twenty-fourth wall, which is for a seventh time slanted, so it will for a seventh time roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the twenty-fifth wall). Once you've done so, you shall have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees clockwise to make the ball fall down (while watching out for twelve single blocks, even though that eleventh one is a +3 one, because destroying one of them for 1000 extra points means landing upon one of eleven more "Timer Down" wall tiles), then rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise before it falls too far to make it continue falling (while watching out for eight more single blocks and eight more "Timer Down" wall tiles), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise before it falls down too far a second time (while watching out for seven more singular blocks, and eight more "Timer Down" wall tiles), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise before it falls down too far a third time while watching out for eleven more single blocks, the first and tenth of which are a second +3 one and a +5 one respectively, and seven more "Timer Down" wall tiles, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise before it falls too far for a fourth time, while watching out for sixteen more single blocks, the fourteenth of which is a third +3 one, and seventeen more "Timer Down" wall tiles, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise before it falls too far for a fifth time (while watching out for three more single blocks, and four more "Timer Down" wall tiles) to land on the twenty-sixth wall, and rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the goal point - and once you have done so, the text of "WORLD 6 COMPLETE!" will appear on the screen as the camera zooms in on the maze while rotating anticlockwise until it disappears. The text "LAP TIME" will then be displayed upon the screen, with the text "X'XX"XX" (and for a sixth, but no longer final, time, if you had usurped the best lap time, "A NEW RECORD") next to it; below that, the text "TIME BONUS" will get displayed, with the text "XX.X SEC X 600 = XXX0 POINTS"" (XX.X and XXX0, for a sixth time, being your remaining time and resulting bonus respectively) next to it (as you receive the bonus of your remaining time multiplied by 600). Below that, the text of "TIME EXTEND +35 SEC." will get displayed as your remaining time is (for a sixth time) extended by thirty-five seconds - and the text "GO TO NEXT WORLD!" will now be displayed at the bottom of the screen for a sixth time (remember this course has two more rounds than the two previous ones).

World 7: "CHINA GARDEN"[edit]

Best lap: 0'60"0

Once the maze and ball have appeared on the screen, and that starting light has changed from red to yellow to green, the ball will automatically jump up out of the warp area the first wall is in, and the timer will start counting down again; you'll then have to rotate the maze 90 degrees anticlockwise to make the ball fall onto the second wall and rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it pass a changing barrier (if it's green and saying "GO! GO! GO!") and fall onto one of a group of four blocks (the third of which is a +3 one), destroy it for 1000 extra points and fall onto the third wall. Once you have done so, you shall have to rotate the maze 90 more degrees clockwise to make the ball fall onto a bumper (which it will bounce off for 500 more extra points, and fall onto the fourth wall, but you'll have to watch out for a "Timer Down" wall tile) - and once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze 90 more degrees clockwise, to make the ball pass another changing barrier (again, if it is green and saying "GO!") and fall onto the fifth wall (which, because it is slanted, it will roll down of its own accord, fall onto the sixth wall, and collect a 1000-point arrow when it lands), rotate it back 180 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall to the seventh wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise, to make it pass a third changing barrier (once again, if it's green and saying "GO! GO!") and fall onto the eighth wall (which, because it is again slanted, it will again roll down it of its own accord, and fall onto the ninth wall, but you shall have to watch out for a "Red Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the tenth wall (which, because it is once again slanted, it will roll down it of its own accord, but you will have to watch out for twelve more warp areas!), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall down onto the eleventh wall (which, because it is yet again slanted, it will yet again roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twelfth wall (which as it is for a fifth time slanted, it will for a fifth time roll down it of its own accord, but you will have to watch out for another "Timer Down" wall tile and ignore another group of four more blocks, the third of which is a ? one), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall down to the thirteenth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the fourteenth wall, and rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it pass a fourth changing barrier (yet again, if it is green and says "GO! GO! GO!"), fall onto two of a third group of twelve more blocks (the tenth one's another ? one), destroy them for 1000 more extra points apiece, pass a fifth changing barrier (for a fifth time, if it's green and saying "GO! GO!") and fall onto the fifteenth wall - and once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back a few degrees anticlockwise to make the ball fall onto another bumper (which it'll bounce off for 500 more extra points, and fall onto the sixteenth wall); once you have done so you shall have to rotate the maze back 90 more degrees anticlockwise, to make the ball fall through one of two more warp areas (bypassing a sixth changing barrier), and land on a third bumper (which it will bounce off for 500 more points, and land on one of two more groups of two more blocks, destroying it for 1000 more extra points, bypassing a seventh changing barrier and landing upon the eighteenth wall, which is for a sixth time slanted, so it'll for a sixth time roll down it of its own accord and collect another 1000-point arrow, but you must watch out for a third "Timer Down" wall tile). Once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees clockwise to make the ball fall onto one of two more groups of two more blocks (but the fourth one is a -3 one so you must avoid it), destroy it for 1000 more extra points, bypass an eighth changing barrier and fall onto the nineteenth wall, which is for a seventh time slanted so it will for a seventh time roll down it of its own accord and collect a third 1000-point arrow) - and once you have done it, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 more degrees clockwise to make the ball fall onto one of two more groups of two more blocks (the fourth of which is another ? one), destroy it for 1000 more extra points, bypass a ninth changing barrier, and fall onto the twentieth wall, which is for an eighth time slanted, so it'll for an eighth time roll down of its own accord and fall into a sixteenth warp area that automatically makes it roll left onto the twenty-first wall, but you will have to watch out for two more "Timer Down" wall tiles). Once you have done so, you'll have to rotate the maze back a few degrees anticlockwise to make the ball fall onto the twenty-second wall and collect a third 1000-point arrow when it lands, rotate it back a few degrees clockwise to make it fall into a seventeenth warp area that will automatically make it roll into an eighteenth one, which will in turn automatically make it roll left onto the twenty-third wall!), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-fourth wall and rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto one of a tenth group of two more blocks, destroy it for 1000 more extra points, then collect two more 1000-point arrows, fall onto one of an eleventh group of two more blocks, destroy it for 1000 final extra points and fall onto the twenty-fifth wall, which is for a ninth time slanted so it'll for a ninth time roll down it of its own accord); once you've done it, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 more degrees clockwise to make the ball fall, to the twenty-sixth wall (which, as it is for a tenth time slanted, it will for a tenth time roll down it of its own accord), rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise, to make it fall onto a single (and second) +3 block (destroying it for three extra seconds), passing a tenth changing barrier (for a sixth and final time, if it is green, and saying "GO! GO! GO!"), and falling onto the goal point. Once you've done so, the text "WORLD 7 COMPLETE!" will appear on the screen as the camera zooms in on the maze while rotating in an anticlockwise direction until it disappears - and the text "LAP TIME" shall then be displayed on the screen with the text "X'XX"XX" (and for a seventh time, if you'd usurped the best lap time, "A NEW RECORD") next to it. Below it, the text "TIME BONUS" will be displayed with the text "XX.X SEC X 700 = XXX0 POINTS"" (XX.X and XXX0, for a sixth time, being your remaining time and resulting bonus respectively) next to it as you receive the bonus of your remaining time multiplied by 700; below it, the text "TIME EXTEND +35 SEC." is shown, as your remaining time is (for a seventh time) extended by thirty-five seconds. The text "GO TO NEXT WORLD!" will now appear at the screen bottom for a seventh time, followed by the text "FINAL TRIAL".

World 8: "IWAI SPECIAL"[edit]

Best lap: 0'60"0

Once the maze and ball have appeared on the screen, and that starting light has changed from red to yellow to green, the ball will fall down onto the first wall of the maze, and the timer shall start counting down again; you will then have to rotate the maze 90 degrees clockwise, to make the ball fall onto the second wall, rotate it a few more degrees clockwise (to make it fall onto the third wall), rotate it back a few degrees anticlockwise (to make it fall onto the fourth wall), rotate it back a few degrees clockwise (to make it fall onto the fifth wall), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the sixth wall, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise, to make it fall onto the seventh wall (while watching out for a "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall to the eighth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise to make it fall to the ninth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the tenth wall, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the eleventh wall (while watching out for another "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the twelfth wall, rotate it back 180 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall down onto the thirteenth wall, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise (to make it fall onto the fourteenth wall), rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall toward the fifteenth wall, while watching out for three more "Timer Down" wall tiles, then rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise before it falls too far to make it fall to the sixteenth wall, and rotate it back 180 more degrees clockwise to make it fall onto one of a group of two blocks, destroy it for 1000 extra points, and fall onto the seventeenth wall (but you will have to watch out for a fifth "Timer Down" wall tile). Once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees anticlockwise, to make the ball fall onto the eighteenth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall down to the nineteenth wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twentieth wall, rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the twentyfirst wall, rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-second wall, rotate it back a few more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twentythird wall, rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-fourth wall (while watching out for a sixth "Timer Down" wall tile), rotate it back 90 degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto the twenty-fifth wall (which, as it is slanted, it shall roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the twenty-sixth wall, which is also slanted, so it will again roll down it of its own accord and fall onto the twenty-seventh wall but you will have to watch out for three more "Timer Down" wall tiles), rotate it back 180 more degrees anticlockwise to make it fall to the twentyeighth wall, rotate it back 90 more degrees anticlockwise (to make it fall onto the twenty-ninth wall), rotate it back 90 degrees clockwise to make it fall to the thirtieth wall and rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise to make it fall to a single +3 block, destroying it for three extra seconds and falling onto the thirty-first wall - and once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees clockwise, to make the ball fall onto the thirty-second wall (while watching for a seventh "Timer Down" wall tile!), rotate it back a few more degrees clockwise, to make it fall onto the thirty-third wall (which, because it is once again slanted, it shall once again roll down it of its own accord, but you will have to watch out for an eighth "Timer Down" wall tile!), rotate it back 90 more degrees clockwise, to make it fall down onto a single block (destroying it for 1000 extra points, but you have to watch out for nine more "Timer Down" wall tiles), and rotate it back a few degrees anticlockwise to make it fall onto a single ? block (destroying it for a mystery bonus, but you will have to watch out for six more "Timer Down" wall tiles) and fall onto the thirty-fourth wall. Once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back 90 degrees clockwise, to make the ball fall to eight of eight more groups of four more blocks (the 10th and 27th of which are two more ? ones), destroy them for 1000 more extra points apiece and fall onto the thirty-fifth wall; once you have done so, you will have to rotate the maze back a few degrees clockwise to make the ball fall to the thirty-sixth wall, then rotate it back a few degrees clockwise to make it fall onto the goal point. Once you have done so, the text "WORLD 8 COMPLETE!" shall appear on the screen as the camera zooms in on the maze while rotating anticlockwise until it disappears - and the text "LAP TIME" shall then be displayed on the screen, with the text "X'XX"XX" (and for an eighth, and final, time, if you had usurped the best lap time, "A NEW RECORD") next to it. Below that, the text "TIME BONUS" is displayed, with the text "XX.X SEC X 800 = XXX0 POINTS"" (XX.X and XXX0, for a final time, being your remaining time and resulting bonus respectively) next to it as you're receiving the bonus of your remaining time multiplied by 800; a "Congratulations!" text now zooms out while rotating in a clockwise direction, and the text "SCORE: XXXX0" (XXXX0 being your final score) and "TOTAL TIME: X MIN XX.X SEC (X and XX.X being the total game time) appears below it - and the text "FANTASTIC!" will now be displayed on the screen, with a picture of the ball sleeping on a desk (that has a CF-30 computer and a photograph of the green-haired woman from the attract mode, and Training Course, on it) and dreaming about the gameplay, and the text of "ONE PEACEFUL DAY, A STRANGE DREAM..." below that. Also, if you press and hold that Jump Button while the game is displaying this screen, it will proceed to the credits:

The A in the company's name is represented by their then-current triangular logo (which was introduced in 1988); the game will then go into high-score mode. Your score shall most likely be the highest one on the cabinet for this course to date, so you should enter your initials at the top of the table with pride (by turning the rotary controller left and right to scroll back and forth through the line of letters, then pressing the Jump Button to enter them when the correct one is selected) - and once you have done it, the camera will zoom in on the text "GAME OVER" while rotating in an anticlockwise direction and the game will go back into attract mode. You'll then have to move on to the Special Course, which is composed of ten rounds as opposed to eight.
