In the end he stays with Julia LaForeze in the mountains, helping his demon friends hide from humans.

Isaac[edit]

A former friend of Hector and another Devil Forgemaster, but one who remained loyal to Dracula even after his death. Convinced that Hector was responsible for his master's defeat, Isaac lured Hector back to Dracula's old lair. It turns out that Isaac wants Hector back for more than just revenge, he is manipulating Hector in order for him to unwilling break the seal on Dracula's Castle. Even in his death he almost succeeds in destroying Hector - Dracula's curse is almost transferred to him when in kills Isaac for revenge. Even though he was defeated he was able to revive Dracula with the help of Death.

Dracula[edit]

Immortal vampire locked in an eternal struggle with the Belmont family. He has been defeated numerous times and has always returned to begin the war again. Three years ago he was defeated by Trevor Belmont and his companions, but his curse remains. Through the actions of Isaac and Death, he is resurrected. Since he is still weak, Hector manages to defeat him again, destroy the curse, and banish Dracula's soul for nearly a century.

Trevor Belmont[edit]

The man who defeated Dracula three years ago and is now seeking a way to remove the curse. Hearing stories that a Devil Forgemaster has returned, he goes to Dracula's old lair to investigate. He finds Hector in the Garibaldi Temple, but quickly realizes that he is to weak (having not yet recovered his full powers) to be the Forgemaster his is looking for. While he accepts that Isaac is their common enemy, he still does not want to work with him, telling Hector to stop meddling. Eventually he realizes that Hector is the only one who can stop Isaac and helps him open the door to the Infinite Corridor. As Hector unknowingly breaks the seal on Dracula's Castle, Trevor is nearly killed when Isaac stabs him in the back (literally). He is left in the care of Julia as Hector finishes the quest to break the curse.

Zead[edit]

A strange man Hector meets in the Abandoned Castle. He claims to be looking for a way to remove the curse and knows a lot about Devil Forging, though he will not tell Hector who he is exactly. He will often be found wandering around the area, and always willing to point Hector in the right direction. After Hector eavesdrops on a conversation between him and Saint Germain, it becomes clear that the two are bitter enemies, and that Zead has magical powers of his own, a fact that he had not revealed to Hector. Despite the fact that he is fighting Germain to allow Hector to complete his quest for vengeance, he becomes concerned after Hector tells him that Germain promised to stop interfering, and once again rus off in a hurry. Following Issac's death, he attempts to use Hector as a host for Dracula's soul. It turns out that Zead is Death, who had been leading Hector to Isaac for the sole purpose of transferring the curse. After Hector successfully rejects the curse, Death decides that Hector is of no more use.

Julia LaForeze[edit]

A woman Hector find in the Baljhet Mountains who looks like Rosaly. She claims to be a witch who escaped persecution in the west and is now running a small shop in the mountains. After realizing that Isaac is their common enemy, she offers to hold Hector's Innocent Devils when he is not using them. During his fight with Isaac in Cordova Town it is revealed that she is, in fact, Isaac's sister. Despite this, she still wants Hector to kill Isaac, since he is now little more than a host for Dracula's curse. She takes care of Trevor Belmont after he is injured and goes to Dracula's Castle to watch over Hector, knowing that the curse could consume him if he didn't fight it. In the end she offers to help Hector protect his demon friends from humans who would attack them, mostly to get him to stay with her.

Saint Germain[edit]

The other strange man that Hector encounters during his quest. He appears in front of Hector outside of the Garibaldi Temple, and asked Hector to give up his quest for revenge against Isaac. He refuses to tell Hector who he is, only that he is trying to "maintain the flow of a greater will". He teleports out (for the time being) in a flash of light before Hector can inquire further. In the Forest of Jigramunt it quickly becomes apparent that he and Zead are enemies, though the exact cause of their hatred (besides the conflicting interest over Hector's quest) remains a mystery for much longer. After challenging Hector to a fight, Germain claims that he is merely a traveler, prohibited from acting or telling Hector the complete truth. In the end it is revealed that Germain is a time traveler from an unknown time (far into Hector's future, but before Dracula's final defeat in 1999) who came back because he was worried about the stability of time. He is based on a real person.
