Castlevania, Dracula's rooms[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  • 1-Up crystal: in the area with the elevators, on the level right above the one with two exits, in the wall on the left.

Boss: Vlad III Dracula, 4th incarnation[edit]

This final boss may very well be one of the most frustrating Dracula fights in the entire Castlevania series. While Dracula has a very simple attack pattern, he teleports so quickly that it's basically impossible to hit him more than once unless you use an item crash. It is also incredibly easily to fall off and die, due to the room's design. Overall, this part of the fight is very tedious, making it easy to screw up.

When Dracula is defeated, he will unleash a demonic laugh before growing to nearly twice his size into an incubus-like creature. This form of Dracula will hover over a platform before launching fireballs at Richter from his hands - Make sure to hit them before they hit you, or you could fall! After shooting the fireballs, he will land on the platform and launch a blue lightning projectile. It moves very fast, but is relatively easy to jump over. Hit him hard and fast, taking care to dodge his attacks, and he will eventually go down. Once you claim the final crystal ball, the game is complete. Congratulations!

Note: It is still possible to fall out of the arena and die after defeating Dracula. For the sake of your controller, please make sure not to overshoot the jump. And DEFINITELY don't try to grab it out of midair.
