Relics

You can find all relics of movements in normal castle.

Familiars

At most one of them can be activated at the same time.

Bat

• Run into nearby enemy and swoop at it.
• When Alucard is in bat form, it will also shoot fire when Alucard does so.
• As familiar level increases, it multiplies when Alucard is in bat form.

Ghost

• Run into nearby enemy and damage it.
• Attack causes Soul Steal after reaching Lv.70.
• If Alucard is in bat form, it will leave, and will return when Alucard is not in bat form anymore.

Faerie

• Use medicines on Alucard whenever necessary. She is the only method of using a Hammer or Life Apple.
• Sense hidden rooms in normal castle. She does nothing in reverse castle.
• Gives hint in the dark room at Catacombs.
• If Alucard stays unmoved for a while, she will sit on his shoulder and take a rest, until Alucard moves again.

Sprite

• Only available in all Japanese versions, and the American X Chronicles version.
• Function the same as Faerie.
• Let her sit on Alucard's shoulder and she will occasionally sing a special song after a few minutes. You will need to equip the Lyric Card in Sega Saturn version.

Devil

• Find enemies and attack with spear and random spells.
  • Learn fire attack at Lv.20, ice attack at Lv.40, and lightning attack at Lv.60.
• Press switches in the two abandoned mines.

Tengu

• Only available in all Japanese versions, and the American X Chronicles version.
• Function the same as Devil.
• The only differences are a funny appearance and comical talks.

Sword

• Before reaching Lv.70, it will fly to a random spot and make a spin slash.
• After reaching Lv.70, it will fly around and chase enemies.
• The skill "Sword Brothers" can only be used when it is active, even if it is at Lv.1.
• After reaching Lv.50, it will disappear once, then you gain the option of wielding it as a weapon. Notice that in this case it is not active.

Spells

If you have enough MP, you can input the command to use, and it will be remembered in menu. Otherwise, you can buy guide books to learn the command of some of the spells. Assume facing right for all commands. Diagonical directions are omitted in this list.

Wolf Charge	In wolf form: + Attack	10	Quickly charge forward in full speed Require Skill of Wolf
