Part 1[edit]
Follow the crystal paths.
Leap on the platforms around the pillar. Destroy the smaller crystal on top of the pillar for an item.
Time your jumping between the disappearing purple crystals. The second series of these is probably the hardest part of the stage.
After the area with the purple crystals you can find the white save crystal.
Part 2[edit]
Jump on a few purple crystals. Destroy the crystal bubble to lift a yellow crystal.
From the lifted yellow crystal, jump on two purple crystals to get to another crystal bubble. Destroy it to lift another yellow crystal.
After the yellow crystals, the next platforms are the small blue crystals: they seem far away, but they're just small.
Two more purple crystals, and you're in sight of the exit. Special Item 2 is on a platform to your right. There is an invisible ledge that allows to get there. This item unlocks Carrie's alternate costume, that is a tribute to Maria Renard from Demon Castle Dracula X: Rondo of Blood. The special item can be used after you clear the game.
There's a white save crystal at the beginning of the next stage.
