Dokapon is a series developed by Sting Entertainment that plays like a board game RPG hybrid. Sting self published the games in Japan and had Atlus USA publish them in the US. There are 2 games in the series so far: Dokapon Kingdom, and Dokapon Journey.
The focus of game play is pitting the players against each other as they save villages and gain power. Combat is based on predicting what the opponent is going to do and responding accordingly. It is done in a traditional turn based manner that allows 4 options.
