[edit] Day format

Because of the way MediaWiki arranges numbered lists (e.g. in a list of 1, 2, 11 the order would be 1, 11, 2) a minor exploit is needed to force the list to arrange correctly.

When creating a new date entry, add a category along the lines of the following:

[[Category:Days|MonthX]]

Month is that month's shorthand name (e.g. Dec for December, Sep for September, etc.) and X is a value from the following chart.

1st  = 1
2nd  = 2
3rd  = 3
4th  = 4
5th  = 5
6th  = 6
7th  = 7
8th  = 8
9th  = 9
10th = 9A
11th = A
12th = B
13th = C
14th = D
15th = E
16th = F
17th = G
18th = H
19th = I
20th = J
21st = K
22nd = L
23rd = M
24th = N
25th = O
26th = P
27th = Q
28th = R
29th = S
30th = T
31st = U
The 10th cannot be 10, because that files it after 1 instead of 9. Technically the 10th should be A, 11th B, etc. However, if we use 9A for the 10th, it solves the problem and we don't have to go back and fix all of the days after the 10th. Koweja 19:42, 16 July 2006 (CDT)

[edit] Finished :)

All days have been created and I believe they are correctly categorized, unless someone changes the cat tag on one of these days, then there isn't a need to worry about how to sort them anymore. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 12:20, 14 October 2006 (CDT)
