Notes on starting the chapter.

Zone 1[edit]

Gleamdrop: Defeat a certain group.

Gleamwell: Hidden by a stump.

Hammer the stump near the starting point to raise the bridge to the south. Cross the bridge, and then head east. At this point, the Gleamdrop can be attained by defeating the group to the south, while a stump in the northeast corner hides the Gleamwell.

Zone 2[edit]

Gleamdrop: Defeat a certain group.

Gleamwell: Hidden by a stump.

Head east from the first large area and you should get the Gleamdrop defeating the monsters along the way. The path should open up in the northeastern portion of the map and hammering a stump here should reveal the Gleamwell.

Zone 3[edit]

Gleamdrop: Defeat a certain group.

Gleamwell: Hidden by a stump.

The most direct route is to hit the southern trigger and take the path east. However, if you hit the northern trigger you can take the path to the small island to the north to get one chest, and another trigger on the island will raise a path to the east. The Gleamwell is hidden by a stump near the middle of this large landmass. Heading east from here, the Gleamdrop can be retrieved from the enemies to the north.

Zone 4[edit]

Gleamdrop: Defeat a certain group.

Gleamwell: In the northwestern quadrant of the outer circle.

Trigger a path to the center circle and defeat the monsters there. One of them will drop the Gleamdrop. It may be easiest to simply open up one of the side paths and send a root ball down the path to take them all out on the center island.

Zone 5[edit]

Gleamdrop: Defeat a certain group.

Gleamwell: Hidden by a stump.

Head east from the first area (there are some chests if you're trying to get all of them). The stump hiding the Gleamwell is just to the south of the path coming into the area. The Gleamdrop can be acquired from the monsters nearby.

Zone 6[edit]

Gleamdrop: Defeat a certain group.

Gleamwell: Hidden by a stump.

Head west and defeat the monsters in the immediate area to receive the Gleamdrop. The stump hiding the Gleamwell should be just northwest of this area.

Zone 7[edit]

Gleamdrop: Defeat a certain group.

Gleamwell: Hidden by a stump.

The stump hiding the Gleamwell is northeast of the starting area. It will take a couple of triggers to get the northern path open. Backtracking a bit will spawn more monsters near the first trigger; these monsters will have the Gleamdrop.

Zone 8[edit]

Gleamdrop: Defeat a certain group.

Gleamwell: South of the starting point.

The group of enemies near the Gleamwell have the Gleamdrop. There's a trigger to the north to open the path towards the area, but it's also possible to weave through the traps and enemies to get down there without opening the path. Of course, there are two chests near the trigger.

You make your way into the eye of the storm and confront the Mana Lord.

Boss:[edit]

Mana Tempest

The Mana Tempest and several bright orbs are floating around the area. The orbs can be knocked into the Tempest to cause damage when they strike the center. It may be easier, however, to simply push into the center and attack the Tempest with your weapon or magic. Avoid the Tempest's attacks (they shoot straight out in cardinal directions). Not much changes the second time, except that the Tempest seems to move more quickly around the area.
