Stage 21[edit]

Once your ships have rematerialized at the bottom of the screen (back in their normal forms again) and the stage's introductory theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, a wormhole will open up on the left side of the screen in the background, as eight Garapon emerge from it and fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the left side of the screen while firing a hail of bullets at you, before four of them take up their places in the formation; the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth ones will, however, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired off a shot at each of them to kill them, another wormhole will open up on the right side of the screen in the background as eight more Garapon emerge from it and fly off the right side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from that right side of the screen while circling around and firing another hail of bullets at you before four of them take up their positions in the formation. The thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth ones will, again, break away from the formation, and fly directly towards you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the left and right sides of the screen (in the background) as sixteen more Garapon emerge from them and fly off the left and right sides of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the left and right sides of the screen while circling around and firing this third hail of bullets down at you before eight of them take up their positions in the formation. The twenty-first, twenty-second, twenty-third, twenty-fourth, twenty-ninth, thirtieth, thirty-first and thirty-second ones will, once again, break away from the formation, then fly directly towards you; once you have fired out a shot at each of these to kill them, two more wormholes will open up at the top of the screen in the background as twelve Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the top of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the top of the screen while circling around and firing a fourth hail of bullets at you before they take their positions in this formation. Two more wormholes will then open up at the top of the screen in the background, as twelve more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly up off the top of the screen, then fly back down into view in the foreground from the top of the screen while circling around and firing a fifth hail of bullets at you before six of them take their places in the formation - but the sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, twenty-second, twenty-third and twenty-fourth ones will, yet again, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, a Bakuto, who will be yielding an armour capsule, will appear at the top of the screen, then take his place at the top of the formation; all remaining Cosmo Gangers in the formation (there was a total of fifty-seven of them to begin with, if you count: the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth, twenty-first, twenty-second, twenty-third, twenty-fourth, twenty-ninth, thirtieth, thirty-first and thirty-second Garapon and the sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, twenty-second, twenty-third and twenty-fourth Type 1 Jammers, who had all decided to break away from it), will begin to attack your ships as the stage's main theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151. Once you fire a shot at the Bakuto to destroy his ship, he will speak out Acho! (アチョッ!) in the Japanese version or Oh, no! in the US version, and once you fire another shot at him to kill him, he will speak out Maitta! (まいった!) in the Japanese version or I give up! in the US version, as the armour capsule he was yielding falls down onto the ship of the player who killed him - and once you've fired a single shot at all the remaining Garapon and Type 1 Jammers in this formation to kill them, the text "NICE CLEAR!" will appear on the screen as the "stage clear" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 and your ships fly up off the top of the screen. Now for the twenty-second.

Stage 22[edit]

Once the background has faded back in, your ships have flown back up into view from the bottom of the screen and the stage's introductory theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 two wormholes will open on the left and right sides of the screen in the background as fourteen Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the left and right sides of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground on the left and right sides of the screen while circling around and firing a hail of bullets at you before eight of them take up their places in the formation; the fifth, sixth, seventh, twelfth, thirteenth, and fourteenth ones will, however, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you fire off a shot at each of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up at the top of the screen in the background as fourteen more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the top of the screen then fly back down into view in the foreground from the top of the screen, while circling around and firing another hail of bullets down at you before eight of them take up their places in the formation - but the nineteenth, twentieth, twenty-first, twenty-sixth, twenty-seventh and twenty-eighth ones will, again, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up at the top of the screen (in the background), as fourteen more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the top of the screen, then fly back down into view in the foreground from the top of the screen while circling around and firing a third hail of bullets down at you, before eight of them take their places in the formation; the thirty-third, thirty-fourth, thirty-fifth, fortieth, forty-first, and forty-second ones will, once again, break away from the formation, and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of these ones to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the left side of the screen in the background as twelve Garapon emerge from them and fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the left side of the screen while circling around and firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you, before six of them take their places in that formation - but the seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth ones will, yet again, break away from the formation, and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them two more wormholes will open up on the right side of the screen in the background as twelve more Garapon emerge from them and fly off the right side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground on that right side of the screen while circling around and firing what is a fifth hail of bullets down at you before six of them take up their positions in the formation; the nineteenth, twentieth, twenty-first, twenty-second, twenty-third, and twenty-fourth ones will, for a fifth time, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the left side of the screen in the background as twelve more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground on the left and right sides of the screen, while circling around and firing a sixth hail of bullets down at you before six of them take their places in the formation - but the forty-ninth, fiftieth, fifty-first, fifty-second, fifty-third and fifty-fourth ones will, for a sixth time, break away from the formation, then fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of these to kill them, two more wormholes will open up at the top of the screen (in the background), as fourteen more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the top of the screen, then fly back down into view in the foreground from the top of the screen while circling around and firing a seventh hail of bullets down at you before six of them take their positions in the formation; the fifty-ninth, sixtieth, sixty-first, sixty-sixth, sixty-seventh and sixty-eighth ones will, for a seventh time, break away from the formation, then fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up at the top of the screen in the background as fourteen more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the top of the screen, then fly back down into view in the foreground from the top of the screen while circling around and firing an eighth hail of bullets down at you, before six of them take up their places in the formation - but the seventy-third, seventy-fourth, seventy-fifth, eightieth, eighty-first and eighty-second ones will, for an eighth time break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them two more wormholes will open up on the left and right sides of the screen (in the background) as twelve more Garapon emerge from them and fly off the left and right sides of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the left and right sides of the screen while circling around and firing a ninth hail of bullets down at you before six of them take their places in the formation; the twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth, thirtieth, thirty-fourth, thirty-fifth, and thirty-sixth ones will, for a ninth time, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you fire a shot at each of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the left and right sides of the screen in the background as twelve more Garapon emerge from them and fly off the left and right sides of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground on the left and right sides of the screen while circling around and firing a tenth hail of bullets at you before six of them take their positions in the formation - but the fortieth, forty-first, forty-second, forty-sixth, forty-seventh and forty-eighth ones will, for what is a tenth time, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you fire a shot at each of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the left and right sides of the screen (in the background) as six more Garapon and six more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the left and right sides of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground on the left and right sides of the screen while circling around and firing an eleventh hail of bullets at you before three of both types take their places in the formation; the fifty-second, fifty-third and fifty-fourth Garapon along with the eighty-sixth, eighty-seventh and eighty-eighth Type 1 Jammers, will for an eleventh time break away from the formation and fly directly towards you; once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, all the remaining Cosmo Gangers in this formation (there was a total of 142 of them to begin with, if you count twenty-seven of the Garapon and thirty-nine of the Type 1 Jammers, who have all decided to break away from it) will begin to attack your ships, as the stage's main theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151. Once you have fired a single shot at all the remaining Garapon and Type 1 Jammers in the formation to kill them, a twenty-third wormhole will open up in the centre of the screen, as eight Mini UFOs emerge from it and start attacking your ships - and once you have fired two shots at each of them to kill them, the text of "NICE CLEAR!" will appear on the screen as the "stage clear" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 and your ships fly up off the top of the screen. The background will then fade out as the game proceeds onto the twenty-third stage.

Stage 23[edit]

Once the background has faded back in, your ships have flown back up into view from the bottom of the screen and the stage's introductory theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, two wormholes will open at the top of the screen (in the background), as six Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the top of the screen, then fly back down into view in the foreground from the top of the screen, while circling around and firing a hail of bullets at you before four of them take their places in the formation; the fifth and sixth ones will, however, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the left side of the screen as six more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view (in the foreground) from the left side of the screen and circle around while firing a second hail of bullets at you before four of them take their places in the formation - but the eleventh and twelfth ones will, again, break away from the formation, and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at both of these to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the right side of the screen in the background, as six more of the Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the right side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the right side of the screen, while circling around and firing a third hail of bullets down at you, before four of them take their places in the formation; the seventeenth and eighteenth ones will, once again, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the left side of the screen in the background as six more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground on that left side of the screen, while circling around and firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you, before four of them take their places in the formation - but the twenty-third and twenty-fourth ones will, yet again, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired off a shot at both of them to kill them, two more wormholes will open up on the right side of the screen in the background as six more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the right side of the screen then fly back into view in the foreground from the right side of the screen while circling around and firing this fifth hail of bullets at you before four of them take up their positions in the formation; the twenty-ninth and thirtieth ones will, for a fifth time, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them two more wormholes will open up on the left side of the screen in the background as six more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them then fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from that left side of the screen and circle around while firing a sixth hail of bullets down at you before four of them take their places in the formation - but the thirty-fifth and thirty-sixth ones will, for a sixth time, break away from the formation, and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at both of these to kill them, a thirteenth wormhole will open up at the top of the screen, as six Mini UFOs emerge from it and take their places in the formation; two Dodongadon and two Armoured Cosmos will then appear at the top of the screen and take their places at the top of the formation. Two Missile Pods will then appear above your ships (remember that even though you can kill them by shooting them three times, they will get resurrected a few seconds later) as all remaining Cosmo Gangers in the formation (there was a total of forty-six to start with, if you can count the fifth, sixth, eleventh, twelfth, seventeenth, eighteenth, twenty-third, twenty-fourth, twenty-ninth, thirtieth, thirty-fifth and thirty-sixth Type 1 Jammers, who had all decided to break away from it) will begin to attack your ships as the stage's main theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 - and once you have fired five shots at both of the Dodongadon to kill them (the fourth one will turn them red), they will leave their heso behind, giving you the opportunity to shoot them before they burst. Once you have fired five shots at both of the Armoured Cosmos to destroy their spacesuits (when they fire lasers down at your ships they will speak out Rēzā! (レーザー!) in the Japanese version or Here we go! in the US version), they will speak out Gomenne, gomenne! (ごめんね、 ごめんね!) in that Japanese version or I'm so sorry! in that US version, as they run off the side of the screen they are furthest from, giving you the opportunity to shoot (and kill) them; once you've fired a single shot at all the remaining Type 1 Jammers in the formation to kill them, any Missile Pods currently on screen will immediately disappear and the text "NICE CLEAR!" will appear on the screen, as that "stage clear" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 and your ships fly up off the top of the screen. Now it is the twenty-fourth stage.

Stage 24[edit]

Once the background has faded back in, your ships have flown back up into view from the bottom of the screen and the stage's introductory theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, four "Tamagocchi" eggs will appear at the top of the screen, as a wormhole opens up in the centre of the screen and twelve Garapon emerge from it while circling around and firing a hail of bullets at you before taking their place in the formation; two more wormholes will then open up in the centre of the screen as twelve Type 2 Jammers emerge from them and circle around while firing the second hail of bullets at you before taking their places in that formation. Two more wormholes will then open up in the centre of the screen, as six more Garapon and four more Type 2 Jammers emerge from them and circle around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, before taking their places in that formation - and two more wormholes will then open up on the left side of the screen in the background, as twelve Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the left side of the screen, while circling around and firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them before they fly away off that right side of the screen, two more wormholes will open up on the right side of the screen in the background, as twelve more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the right side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the right side of the screen, while circling around and firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you; once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them before they fly away off the left side of the screen, two more wormholes will open (in the centre of the screen) as six Mini UFOs emerge from them, and fly off the left and right sides of the screen while firing a sixth hail of bullets down at you, then fly back into view from the left and right sides of the screen below your ships before flying off those right and left sides of the screen, then flying back into view from the right and left sides of the screen, before taking their places in the formation. A Bakuto who will be yielding an armour capsule if the player who won the initial one on the twenty-first stage died and the other player failed to catch it, will then fly into view from the right side of the screen - and once you've fired a shot at him to destroy his ship, he will speak out Acho! (アチョッ!) in the Japanese version or Oh, no! in the US version. Once you have fired another shot at him to kill him, he will speak out Maitta! (まいった!) in the Japanese version or I give up! in the US version (as the armour capsule he was yielding if the player who won the initial one on the twenty-first stage died, and the other player failed to catch it, falls down onto the ship of the player who killed him); the four "Tamagocchi" eggs at the top of the screen will then automatically break open if you had not done it already, as four Dodongadon emerge from them. All the remaining Cosmo Gangers in the formation (there was a total of sixty-five to start with) will begin to attack your ships as the stage's main theme starts to be heard out from the Yamaha YM-2151 - and once you've fired five shots at each of the Dodongadon to kill them (again, that fourth one will turn them red), they will leave their heso behind, and again give you the opportunity to shoot them before they burst. Once you have fired off a single shot at all the remaining Garapon and Jammers in the formation to kill them and two shots at all the remaining Mini UFOs in the formation to kill them two more wormholes will open up on the left side of the screen in the background as twelve more Type 1 Jammers emerge from it and fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the left side of the screen while circling around and firing a seventh hail of bullets down at you; once you have fired a shot at each of these ones to kill them before they have flown away off the right side of the screen, two more wormholes will open up on the right side of the screen in the background as twelve more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the right side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the right side of the screen, while circling around and firing an eighth hail of bullets at you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them before they fly away off the left side of the screen, two more wormholes will open up (in the centre of the screen) as six more Mini UFOs emerge from them and fly off the left and right sides of the screen while they are firing their ninth hail of bullets at you and fly back into view from those left and right sides of the screen below your ships before flying off the right and left sides of the screen and flying back into view from those right and left sides of the screen - and once you have fired two shots at each of these to kill them before they have flown away off the top of the screen, the text "NICE CLEAR!" will appear on the screen, as the "stage clear" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 and your ships fly up off the top of the screen. Now for the twenty-fifth stage.

Stage 25[edit]

Once the background has faded back in, your ships have flown back up into view from the bottom of the screen and the stage's introductory theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, fourteen Garapon and fourteen Type 1 Jammers will fly into view from the right and left sides of the screen while circling around and firing a hail of bullets at you before taking their places in the formation; four Dodongadon will now appear at the top of the screen and take their position at the top of the formation. There is a total of thirty-two Cosmo Gangers, and they will all then begin to attack your ships as the stage's main theme starts to be heard out from that Yamaha YM-2151 - and once you have fired five shots at all of the Dodongadon to kill them (once again, the fourth one will turn them red), they will leave their heso behind, and once again give you that opportunity to shoot them before they burst. Once you have fired a single shot at all the remaining Garapon and Type 1 Jammers in the formation to kill them, the text of "NICE CLEAR!" will appear upon the screen as the "stage clear" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, and those two ships fly up off the top of the screen; now it is onto the twenty-sixth stage.

Stage 26[edit]

Once the background has faded back in, your ships have flown back up into view from the bottom of the screen and the stage's introductory theme starts to be heard from that Yamaha YM-2151, three wormholes will open up at the top of the screen as twelve Garapon emerge from them, then circle around while firing a hail of bullets at you before taking their positions in the formation; two more wormholes will then open in the centre of the screen as sixteen more Garapon emerge from them and circle around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, before taking their places in the formation. Two more wormholes will then open (in the centre of the screen) as sixteen more Garapon emerge from them and circle around while firing their third hail of bullets at you before taking up their places in the formation - and all the remaining Cosmo Gangers in the formation (there was a total of forty-four to begin with, and they are all of the same type) will begin to attack your ships, as the stage's main theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151. Once you fire a single shot at all of them to kill them, three more wormholes will open up in the centre of the screen as twelve Type 2 Jammers emerge from them and circle around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you, before taking their places in the second formation; two more wormholes will then open up in the centre of the screen, as sixteen more Type 2 Jammers emerge from them and circle around while firing what is their fifth hail of bullets at you, before taking their places in that second formation. A Bakuto (who will be yielding an armour capsule, if either player had won one on the twenty-first or twenty-fourth stage, but died, and the other player failed to catch it) will then fly into view from the left side of the screen - and once you have fired a shot at him to destroy his ship, he will speak out Acho! (アチョッ!) in the Japanese version, or Oh, no! in the US version. Once you fire another shot at him to kill him, he will speak out Maitta! (まいった!) in the Japanese version or I give up! in the US version as the armour capsule he held if either player won one on the twenty-first or twenty-fourth stage but died and that other player failed to catch it falls onto the ship of the player who killed him; two more wormholes will then open up (in the centre of the screen) as sixteen more Type 2 Jammers emerge from them and circle around while firing a sixth hail of bullets at you before taking their places in the second formation. All the remaining Cosmo Gangers in the second formation (there was a total of forty-five to start with) will then begin to attack your ships - and once you have fired a single shot at each of them to kill them the text "NICE CLEAR!" will appear on the screen as the "stage clear" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 and the two ships fly up off the top of the screen. Now it's onto the twenty-seventh stage.

Stage 27[edit]

Once the background has faded back in, your ships have flown back up into view from the bottom of the screen and the stage's introductory theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, two wormholes will open in the centre of the screen as thirty-two Type 1 Jammers emerge from them then circle around before sixteen of them take their places in the formation; the other sixteen will, however, break away from the formation, then fly directly towards you. Once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them, four "Tamagocchi" eggs will appear (at the top of the screen) as sixteen Garapon fly into view from the left sides of the screen while circling around before eight of them take their places in the formation. The other eight will, again, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them two more wormholes will open up in the centre of the screen as twenty-four more Garapon emerge from them then circle around before eight of them take their places in the formation. The other sixteen will, once again, break away from the formation, then fly directly towards you; once you fire a shot at each of these to kill them, two more "Tamagocchi" eggs will appear on the left and right sides of the screen as all the remaining Cosmo Gangers in the formation (there was a total of seventy-two to begin with, if you count sixteen of the Type 1 Jammers and twenty-four of the Garapon, who all decided to break away from it) will start to attack your ships as the stage's main theme starts to be heard from that Yamaha YM-2151. Once you fire a single shot at all the remaining Cosmo Gangers in this formation to kill them, the four "Tamagocchi" eggs at the top of the screen will automatically break open if you hadn't done it already, as four Dodongadon emerge from them - and once you have fired five shots at each of them to kill them (yet again, the fourth one will turn them red) they will leave their heso behind, and yet again give you the opportunity to shoot them before they burst. Those two additional "Tamagocchi" eggs on the left and right sides of the screen will then automatically break open if you hadn't done it already, as sixteen more Garapon emerge from them and circle around before eight of them take their places in the second formation; the other eight will yet again break away from the formation, and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired off a shot at each of these to kill them, the text "NICE CLEAR!" will appear on the screen as the "stage clear" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 and your ships fly up off the top of the screen - and the screen will then fade out for what is a thirtieth time as the game proceeds to the twenty-eighth stage.

Stage 28[edit]

Once the background has faded back in, your ships have flown back up into view from the bottom of the screen and the stage's introductory theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, two wormholes will open up on the left side of the screen in the background, as twelve Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the left side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from that left side of the screen while circling around and firing a hail of bullets at you before eight of them take up their places in the formation; the other four will, however, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, two Cosmo Coins will fly into view from the left side of the screen, while rotating on their X-axes - and once you have fired four shots at both of them to destroy them, two more wormholes will open up on the right side of the screen in the background, as eight more Type 1 Jammers emerge from them and fly off the right side of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from that right side of the screen while circling around and firing another hail of bullets at you before eight of them take their place in the formation. The other four will, again, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you; once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them, two more Cosmo Coins will fly into view from the left side of the screen while rotating on their X-axes. Once you have fired off four shots at both of these to destroy them, two more wormholes will open up upon the left and right sides of the screen in the background as twelve Garapon emerge from them then fly off the left and right sides of the screen, and fly back into view in the foreground on the left and right sides of the screen while circling around and firing a third hail of bullets at you before eight of them take their places in the formation - but the other four will, once again, break away from the formation and fly directly towards you. Once you have fired off a shot at each of them to kill them two more Cosmo Coins will fly into view from the left side of the screen while rotating on their X-axes; once you fire four shots at both of them to destroy them, two more wormholes will open up on those left and right sides of the screen in the background as eight Mini UFOs emerge from them and fly off the left and right sides of the screen, then fly back into view in the foreground from the left and right sides of the screen, while circling around and firing a fourth hail of bullets at you, before taking their positions in the formation (three more Mini UFOs will also fly down into view from the top of the screen and take their places in the formation at this point). All the remaining Cosmo Gangers in the formation (there was a total of forty-three to begin with, if you count eight of the Type 1 Jammers and four of the Garapon, who had all decided to break away from it) will then begin to attack your ships as the stage's main theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 - and once you fire one single shot at all the remaining Type 1 Jammers and Garapon in the formation to kill them, and two shots at all the remaining Mini UFOs in the formation to kill them, the text "NICE CLEAR!" will appear on the screen as the "stage clear" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151. Both players' bonus multipliers will then, for the last time in the game, be reset back to 1 as their ships fly up off the top of the screen (you will also notice that if either of them still have an armour capsule that they had won on the twenty-first, twenty-fourth or twenty-sixth stage, they will immediately lose it for the fourth, final Challenging Stage, which will either have a "circus" or "cookery" theme to it; if you should wind up with the former of these, the five Jammers will again move faster). The ships will also again undergo a transformation to look like the lightguns of the original "Cosmo Gang" redemption game that the stage's inspired by.
