This is a list of every enemy and their stats.

Each dungeon has its own set of enemies with the exception of mimics which occur in all of them. However the mimic in different dungeons are still somewhat different, so attributes will be listed for mimics in different dungeons as if they were different enemies.

Type is the type of monster, equip weapon with a high rating against that type to do extra damage. The rating against a type can be increased by attaching the matching 'buster' to the weapon. Abs is the number of Abs. points your weapon absorbs when you defeat the enemy.

Location: Divine Beast Cave
Name Type Abs. HP Drop Steal Defends Defense Atk.
Cave Bat Sky 3 12 (none) Antidote Drink No 0 17
Though easy to defeat and it's attack is weak, the attack has a poison side effect which can be annoying in the early stages of the game since antidotes may be in short supply. Fight as Xiao to avoid its attack.
Dasher Beast 3 23 Prickly Bread No 1 22
This runs up, tries to hit you with a club, then runs away again. Timing is the key to a successful fight.
Dragon Dragon 5 90 Holy
These shoot fire or try to headbutt you. They have a lot of HP for this dungeon so equip a strong weapon if possible, otherwise it's like chopping down a large tree with a small hatchet.
Ghost Undead 3 15 20
These float around and occasionally teleport.
King Mimic Mimic 4 ~90
A large version of the mimic, easier to hit but more tough in general.
Master Jacket Undead 5 75 Stamina Drink Yes 35
A tougher, harder to hit version of the Skelton Soldier
Mimic Mimic 3 68 33
Looks like a treasure chest and only turns into a monster when you try to open it. It's jumping motion makes it tricky to hit.
Opar Marine 3 28 Petite Fish
These emit a gooey vapor and try to crush you by falling on top of you.
Rockanoff Rock 3 30 Stone 35
A boulder that attacks by rolling at you. Fast but doesn't turn easily.
Skelton Soldier Undead 3 23 Bread No 0 20
A living skeleton that attacks with a sword. Try to attack and it just jumps out the way. Wait until it's about to strike and get it while its guard is down.
Statue Rock 3 38 Stone 26
Slow moving but it's tough with a powerful attack. Dodge it's blow then counterattack before it can strike again.
StatueDog Rock 2 15 Endurence+x 35
Only attacks when you get close, just strike first.
Yammich Undead 3 13 Endurence+x Stone No 3 35
Weird, ghost-like creature that attacks with a wind vortex.

Notes[edit]

  • You can find out the type of an enemy by throwing a bomb at it, if it drops an item it will usually be the buster attachment that's effective against that enemy. If that method fails, simply attack with same weapon but with different buster attachments to see which does more damage.
  • To get Abs. check your weapon before and after defeating the enemy and note how much the Abs. increased.
  • You can get a rough idea of HP by using Poison Apple, the HP lost on each tick is 1/10 the total. To find the exact number, keep track of damage on each hit a find the total. Do this with different weapons and combinations until you find the minimum.
  • Drop does not include buster attachments you get by throwing projectiles.
  • For Steal you need a weapon with Steal ability, usually Bandit Slingshot or Bandit Ring.
  • Defends shows whether the enemy can block your attack.
  • Def. shows resistance to attack. To get this, throw a bomb and see what the damage is. Def. is the difference between damage done and bomb damage for that dungeon (DBC 30, WOF 60, ...).
  • Atk. is the strength of the enemy's attack before your Def. is deducted. To get this, let the enemy attack you, then add your current Def. to the amount of damage you take. Having a spring nearby is a good idea if you try this.
  • Blank cells means the value is unknown at the moment; ~ means approximate.
