If Adam the clown disappointed his family with his choice of career, he didn't disappoint us with his choice of weaponry. His mini chainsaws do maximum damage against other psychopaths and slice limbs like butter. This is the strongest weapon in the game(aside from the unlockable rmb). It also lasts longer. This item is respawnable in the same area. This item is one of the only ones that can be strengthened three times as much (When picking up three types of magazines. They are the Entertainment magazine, the Engineering Magazine, and the Criminal Biography Magazine. With these three in effect the player can kill over 3,000 zombies).

Frank is a wizard in the kitchen, whipping up delicious smoothies with ease. When zombies get too close, however, Frank likes to grab a frying pan for a decent, face-smashing melee weapon. Also, put it on the stove, heat it up, and use it to melt off zombie faces for a one-hit kill.

It's the candy that makes this weapon so hilarious. It works just like any other heavy object in Dead Rising, but it's filled with happy colored gumballs to add that extra bit of humiliation you need to bestow upon your zombie victims. When thrown and smashed the gumballs will make the poor zombies lose their balance and fall over (and over and over). This makes it a great weapon if you want to escape or if you want a hilarious picture (extra PP)

This musical instrument brings two things: rock and pain. Make Frank wield this weapon and he'll swing around the guitar, which can cause some massive damage to a zombie. When swung, it can clear a large area in front of Frank, but unfortunately he needs a second or two to recover after whacking some zombies.
Note: There are four types of guitars: Bass, Acoustic and 2 Electric. Acoustic seems to cause more damage, while Electric is a bit faster, because its recovery time is about half of the Acoustic's.

They can be found in the "Huntin Shack", in Garbage Cans, and a majority of the police zombies carry guns which they drop if attacked (Although it is not necessary to kill them. The Hunting Knife is used with highly effective swipes. The weapon is effective, but with short 'killing distance', leaving Frank prone to being surrounded. These are common items found easily in every area. They are most commonly found in the hands of yellow Trench Coat zombies (Formerly Cultists) or on the living members of same.

(Columbian Roastmasters) It is a very quick and effective weapon. It breaks quickly. Although this breaks quickly it always respawns in the same place and is one of the most effective weapons in the game. Be sure to have this in the boss fights. You'll want some guns too for head shots.

Grab this lawn utility out in the courtyard and go to town. Zombies are slow and stupid enough to just stand around while you mow them to a bloody pulp. You can either slowly drive it over them or you may pick it up and shove it onto there head to make an explosion of blood, awesome. As a bonus, you're adding some fertilizer to the grass to make sure it grows tall and green. Now you can save yourself and the environment.
When the lawnmower stalls, Frank can pick up the lawnmower. This allows Frank to carry the lawnmower into the mall.

Location: From Special Forces around the mall, from one of the three survivors in Huntin’ Shack, North Plaza.
Lasts: 150 rounds
Weapons used by the Special Forces that have been sent to clear out the mall. It contains 150 rounds. The assault rifle is easily the best firearm in the game, and really one of the better weapons over all. Its magazine contains 150 rounds which is more than any other gun and it only takes one burst of three or four rounds to kill a zombie and roughly 30 rounds to kill one of the Special Forces soldiers. However, you shouldn't try to use this weapon against the Special Forces soldiers if you are on the same level as them as their fire will stun you and make it hard for you to shoot back. The easiest way to kill them is to rush one with a powerful weapon like the battle ax, katana etc, kill him, take his rifle, then climb ontop of something high enough that they cannot return fire and shoot the reinforcements as they arrive; for example, the Lego building with the SMG atop it in Wonderland Plaza works well for this, as do the tops of the shelves in the warehouse. There is an acheivement for not missing with an assault rifle, which is easily done by shooting all of the bullets into a carcass in the meat processing room.

Lasts: 20 hits (small), 30 hits (big)
This weapon is probably the most explosive in the game. Not meant to be picked up and used as a physical weapon, since it is incredibly slow, and does little damage. Meant to be picked up and moved around, then placed or thrown into an advantageous spot, where you can then whip out a gun and shoot the tank, causing it to explode, causing massive damage in a large radius. Excessive physical attacks and the bullets of the Special Forces may cause the tank to explode, so take caution of lunging zombies.
