Factory on Toontown Online

For starters, to get inside the factory, you must be an official citizen of Toontown. The factory is probably bigger than the V.P. battle, but the cogs are much harder in the V.P. battle.

Storming the front entrance

You will first come to a room with one button and a door. Step on the button. You should come to a room with one goon and three cogs to battle. Jump on the goon's head to disable it. Then you will fight three cogs. Usually, there will be an assortment of Coldcallers, Telemarketers, and Name droppers. Try luring these cogs. Once you are done, step on the second button.

You should come into a hall with one throw restock barrel and a crate. Once out of that hallway, you should be in the main hallway. If you take the door in front, you will get to the observation deck. Here you can see some goons and cogs in the warehouse. Now you will have to make the choice of the factory. Right takes you to the gear room and left takes you to the boiler room. Take a left turn first.

The boiler room

There are three regular cogs to battle, levels 6, 5, and 3. There are usually cogs like two faces, Gladhanders, Name droppers, and maybe Telemarketers. Once you are done, you will be on the east catwalk. For new people, do not take a left turn. It will lead you to losing all your laff points. For older toons, this will be in another chapter of this page. The thing you should do, is walk up to the second door on the catwalk. Extreme caution: There will be lots of goons here. You are now in the warehouse. There will be tons of goons!

Stay close to the wall and go up the stairwell. You have begun the fourth to final battle of the factory. There will be cogs leveled 6, 5, and two fours. You should lure these cogs. Once you are done with that battle, you should step on the red button and destroy the goons with the stompers, which you can use by pressing the orange buttons. If you stepped on the red button, the door will open. You should jump off the deck you were fighting on, and go through the door. Walk up the stairs and you should be on the west silo catwalk. You should walk through the door if there is one and go on the elevator when it comes down.

The final battle

When you take the elevator, you should arrive and fight the cogs of the west silo. When you are done, walk across the center silo to the east silo and fight those cogs. The door to the center silo control room should be unlocked unless you didn't push the buttons at the west and east silo. Now, go into the center silo control room. This is the final battle.

You fight three level 6 cogs and one level 9 cog, the foreman of the factory. You'll definitely want to lure these cogs with hypno goggles. When you have beaten him, you will get a sellbot disguise part for the first ten victories. Any win past the tenth will reward you with merits.

Alternative strategy

If luring the cogs with hypno goggles doesn't work, try taking out the factory foreman early in the battle; his attacks take away some serious laff points. Drop gags, level 4 and up, work best on him. If you don't have drop, try throw. That'll take care of him! Now use sound to defeat the rest.

Merits and extras

First is the merit factory route. Take a right in the main hallway. You will be in the Gear Room. After battling the cogs there, go back to the hallway. Fight the cogs in the Boiler Room. Exit and enter the first building on the left. You will arrive in the pipe room. The first battle in that room, you will battle one level 5 skelecog and two level 4 skelecogs. The second battle (optional) will be the same. Exit the pipe room and you should be in a very long hallway. Go forward and fight the cogs in the room. Go back out the room. Go all the way to the end (note you will have to pass stomper alley) and go through the door. You should arrive in the lava room foyer. If you want merits, don't go in the lava room. Instead, take a right and go through the door.

You should arrive in the oil room hallway. You will see one locked door and one open. Go through the open door. You should arrive in the oil room, where you will fight two level 5 cogs and one level 4 cog. When you are done, press the button in the room. The locked door in the oil room hallway will open. Go through the door you just unlocked and you should arrive on the east catwalk. You'll have a moderate goon alert for the catwalk. Go through the first door you see on the catwalk. You will arrive in the warehouse.

You do not need to do the factory anymore after maxing your level (50), because you get a key which allows you to VP whenever you want to.

VP Battle

The Sellbot Vice President is the biggest, baddest, and meanest Sellbot there is. He rides on tank treads, has giant metal teeth, and kidnaps Toontown shopkeepers for fun. It's up to you to stop this maniac's rampage.

After you've defeated the Factory Foreman ten times and have seven other friends who have met the same goal, it's time to fight the Sellbot V.P. After you walk inside the cash register building, you will automatically put on your Cog Disguise. It will be for naught however, because the V.P will instantly recognize you as Toons and destroy your disguises. After this, four Toons will go on one side, and the other four will go on the other side. Wave upon wave of Cogs and Skelecogs will storm you. Level 7 gags are highly suggested. If you do not have them, at least have a Level 4 Sound gag.

For those who survive the Cog onslaught, you'll face the V.P himself. This won't be a regular fight though. Run under the captured Toon's cage and jump. A Cream Pie icon should appear over top of your head. Press Insert or Delete to fire a pie. Make sure the bar is right at the middle to hit him successfully. To stun him, make the bar go all the way to the right and throw the pie into his undercarriage. Hit him with pies until he rolls down the ramp, then hit him some more. He'll shake off the pies eventually and will slowly come back up the ramp. If his door is closed, keep hitting him, if it's open, hit him with another pie there. Keep pelting him with pies until he is on the Sellbot Launch Platform and watch him fly off the edge!

With the VP defeated, the Toon will be freed from the cage, and as a thank you, they will give you their card. Under the SOS button in the Battle Menu and Shticker Book, the Toons card will be there. Summoning these Toons will give you an edge in battle, may it be using a gag that you don't have or restocking your gags in battle!

Extras

Once you are in the first hallway of the factory with the barrel and the crate, push the crate towards the blocks holding the barrel by walking into the crate. Once it is pushed against the blocks, you should be able to reach the barrel. The barrel offers a throw gag when you touch it.

Paintmixer

In the paintmixer, you have to jump on four moving gears to get to the paintmixer storage room. In this room, you can get restocks on jellybeans, feathers, lipstick, hoses, and creme pies (whole).

Lava room

In the lava room, you will have to run across a conveyor belt with gears over you trying to knock you off the conveyor belt. Once again, like the paintmixer, there is a storage room with rewards. This is hard for new toons, because the gears move in different directions.

In the lava room storage room, you will find restock barrels on jellybeans, hoses, elephant trunks, and a barrel that will give back 10 laff points that were lost.
